Any tips on hitting?

I'm not the best hitter by any means but man I've only been playing against the CPU and they are catching everything. I'm early, I'm late and I'm perfect and the ball finds the glove 9.5 times out of 10. Oh and did I mention I've only been playing the CPU. So conquest, feature program moments and showdown. I can't bye consistent hits no matter my swing result.

Watch some YouTube tutorials. Also from the main menu there is a practice mode that you can play.
I always think fastball inside and adjust my pci from there. Think fastball high and in and adjust offspeed low and away.
Focus primarily on timing tho, without timing the pci doesn't really matter. And it sounds crazy but don't look at your pci just watch the ball and let your thumbs do the work. I have my pci at 30% and it's white so you can barley see it. I find that a bright more pronounced pci throws me off.

I’m a The Show veteran (since 16), and I’ve been doing all the stuff you’re suggesting for years, and I’m having a bit of trouble with the hitting. I’ll square things up nicely only to fly out

sit a spot or a pitch, the cpu is very agressive with mixing speeds to screw up your timing

People will be angry, but I feel like the messed with hitting at some point between today and early access release. I was getting 10-20 runs per conquest game now maybe 5

I always go into practice on hall of fame get a few good hits going then switch to legendary before i jump on diamond dynasty you get xp from practice anyways so 10-15 mins warmup wont hurt
