On directional you can know his going to a fastball up and in, and time it well, and pop it up. With zone, you just put your cursor where he's been throwing the pitches, and boom home run.

Put directional with directional and zone with zone matchups. It’s really a simple suggestion.
It does sound like that, all you have to do is look at his claims like not even elite players can hit .300 with every batter unless it's zone.

Im agreeing with his claim that directional takes no skill and those players rely on luck/RNG to get hits. With how much this game plays like a slot machine, a directional hitter can push a single button and if the numbers go his way, while his opponent using zone doesn’t get the lucky numbers as well, he can pull out a W with pure luck. He wants that changed, he didn’t come on here and brag about “being so much better” like the other guy was implying.

bad seed..online competitve games shouldnt cater to those who cant play. They can play offline but if you have a competitive setting for an online game it needs to be even.
On lower levels...which is all star til the last 3 division.
the dragon. you can see who is and who isnt by swing feedback. If they are crushing pitches all over the zone they are def using timing only. And you cant really use power swing with zone due the decreased pci....ith a99 power guy you can just swing power and have no disadvantage. 0-2 sliders off plate are being pulled for home runs. its unrealistic and timing only is pure garbage. RBI is still available.
This is one of the worst posts I have ever read. First off, if you are good with zone, you can use power swing to hit. Most people don't use power swing because normal swing is better but you can do it. You can hit anything in this game using zone if you are decent or better using your PCI and using directional puts you at a massive disadvantage in the game, especially if the person pitching knows how to pitch. You keep talking down to people for using directional and saying that people who can't use zone should be excluded and just play offline so that tells everyone about who you are but if you are losing to a directional player, sorry thats on you.

ied bet most do...so if i pitch the corners over and over all 4 of them. timing only has advantage cuz that doesnt matter where pitch is. You follow? as a zone user if a pitcher is doing the same pitch over and over thats th pitchers fault for not mixing it up. or a slider at the back foot. its neaely hitting the batter and they are pulling it adnd keeping it fair. its a joke and not baseball

I was going to post the same thing. All these people that complain that directional is so overpowered and easy yet they struggle game in and game out using zone but never switch to the "easy mode".

Let's look at it this way if timing/directional was as easy as you claim it to be then way doesn't everyone use it? Why does every single online content creator tell people to use zone cause it's the best if it was so easy why wouldn't they promote and use it themselves????

are you serious?? pitching is like a chess match...if you dont have to aim location on where ball is and lettting the cpu do it for you than that is a competitive advantage. You literally dont have to aim and can just time it and be rewarded when contact and power is 99 . dont tell yme youre this clueless
This take is right on the money. It's like saying "Christopher Nolan is a great director". It's a true statement. Being clueless would be like saying "The Dark Knight" was his best movie. It wasn't.
