He's saying its not luck....He's saying they are at a competitive advantage because they can literally hit everything with a push of a button. Which they are not because the penalty of using directional off-sets the ease of use of the mode.

It's not, being at the mercy of only RNG with no control means more bad luck.Yes, sometimes they'll win a game, but most likely the opponent they were playing was pretty bad at zone and/or was using directional also. Maybe they'd win 2 out of 100 times against a really really good zone hitter.
And I know you'll come back at me and say "Well they should win 0 out of 100 times" and I'll tell you I really don't care. That's a good enough ratio for me while making it more inclusive.

I don't think the zone people want to get rid of the easier wins against people using the luck based hitting system. It is allowed because it is in no way a competitive advantage. Most situations it is a disadvantage for whoever is using it.

Yep, here it is, the annual "I'm getting beat by guys using directional/timing/analog/RNG input methods"...
Only one method allows you to hit pitches at the ankles or near the ears for a bomb on a consistant basis: zone.
Use timing for 10 games and see how you do... I bet you won't get past the 3rd inning of your first game before reverting back; it sucks.

It's not, being at the mercy of only RNG with no control means more bad luck.Yes, sometimes they'll win a game, but most likely the opponent they were playing was pretty bad at zone and/or was using directional also. Maybe they'd win 2 out of 100 times against a really really good zone hitter.
And I know you'll come back at me and say "Well they should win 0 out of 100 times" and I'll tell you I really don't care. That's a good enough ratio for me while making it more inclusive.
Copy that. You can win online competitive games on TS with the push of a single button and some good old RNG/luck going your way.

Sure, and you can win the lottery to, you could get struck by lightning, you could inherit something from your long lost relative. All these things could happen, but it doesn't make them happen all that often or enough to matter to the overall picture

How does this have to do with directional Hitting? Not much...but definitely more than homophobic rhetoric against Scottish transgender athletes or Anne Hathaway.
Also, this game has muuuuuuuch bigger issues than a person winning 1 out of a hundred games by dumb luck.

Doesn’t sound like that at all. He simply wants Online to be competitive without someone relying on the game to help them out…..it’s already bad enough with the high amount of RNG.
Put directional with directional and zone with zone matchups. It’s really a simple suggestion.
It does sound like that, all you have to do is look at his claims like not even elite players can hit .300 with every batter unless it's zone.
Or are you agreeing with that?
Im agreeing with his claim that directional takes no skill and those players rely on luck/RNG to get hits. With how much this game plays like a slot machine, a directional hitter can push a single button and if the numbers go his way, while his opponent using zone doesn’t get the lucky numbers as well, he can pull out a W with pure luck. He wants that changed, he didn’t come on here and brag about “being so much better” like the other guy was implying.
Then why doesn't everyone use Directional?
