Catcher tags

Something that just happened to me, not game breaking but definitely annoying.
Opponent has a man on third. Goes to bunt him home(which is fine, if that's your strategy go for it) but he misses the bunt the ball lands right in front of the plate and my catcher picks it up while the runner is halfway down the base path and proceeds to stand there and not attempt a tag. I would've lost the game either way because my bullpen was a steaming pile but that's definitely gonna [censored] people off if it costs them a game. Hopefully there is a way to update the catchers awareness.

I had something similar happen twice with my first basemen just picking up the ball and doing nothing.
