Haven’t played the game yet and won’t be able to till later today. What’s your thoughts on the game so far? Who was your best pull in packs so far?

I'm on PS5 and an LGC1 and the game looks great ! I feel like this year has made some big strides and it feels like a baseball game again.

Gameplay - played 2 conquest games. No noticeable differences from last year. Feels mostly like the same game. New commentary is a nice change. Hitting physics seem better....but it could also be because I've started over and don't have a team chucked full of 99's yet.
Packs - I got LS Trea Turner (90ovr) in my preorder packs and LS Matt Chapman (80ovr).

Those are good pulls…I think Chapman goes diamond at some point this year.

I pre ordered the MVP edition and got lucky with a Gerrit Cole in one of the packs I got. I'm enjoying it so far, hitting seems more on point with the feedback. Interested to see how future features programs look but I'm not against the changes at the moment. I do miss Team Affinity tho.

I love the fact that when I open a pack now, it automatically goes to the next card after opening the previous. That is a nice feature.

Also it seems like you won't accidentally quick flip a diamond when opening packs because square(on playstation) now says 'Flip lower tier cards'. Nice little add I thought.

Lots of good things
Conquest Sims are super fast now like it's very noticeable
Mini season is gonna be good
Love the new program structure alot always progressing to one goal really
Lots of Positives, also the switch version works and is fun to play

Something I noticed in conquest, they chenge the pitcher way way faster. In a game last night, I faced 6 pitchers

I bought the DD version and pulled one diamond from the regular packs, an 85.
I had fun last night. There were some server issues in the beginning and I had a server issue after finishing a moment, so I had to do it over. It wasn't that big of a deal though.
The fresh commentary was nice, it seems more natural now, especially when they talk about the players. I did all of the moments in the feature and Ruth and then started a mini-season. After the first game (which I lost), I finished the Ruth program. I stopped around 3:30 pacific because of the server maint at 4. I was a bit frustrated at first, dropping down to low cards, but I got used to it pretty quickly. I tried the market but everyone was flipping and the prices were going up fast without the sales, so I stopped. I didn’t end up buying anything at all (cancelled orders) but I did sell some dupe commons for a few hundred each. It was nice playing with a purpose. I was tempted to buy some stubs to get some big pack bundles to get more players, but I decided not to.
