I have seen a lot of people say that! I have an extremely rare last name and first name and I have always been in the game. I just assumed they did some sort of database search for players that played a certain amount of hours and included their names in game. Maybe they didnt do that this year? I need to check if my name is there. Or maybe they just need to pay us for out rights? Hummm

To be fair, they didn’t have my exact last name, but they had a nearly identical pronunciation (“Goodrich” in place of “Goodridge”). So I had to use “Goodman,” which is annoying. I know they can’t have every surname in the world, but it is annoying to have had it in there for years and all of a sudden lose it.

I'm just a little... confused so far. I'm just not sure where to start. I was pretty clear in prior years what my overall strategy was - brute force on everything. This year I'll have to think a little more. That's not necessarily a bad thing. It's obviously going to take more time to earn your free stuff.
Two random takes so far:

Mini seasons seems kind of cool. I started here instead of Conquest (I'm a little disappointed with "Prospects" again in the USA map, but I'll still grind through it many times). One thing to beware of this early in the cycle... my first game was against a team of mostly silvers/golds like my team. I looked at the roster of my next opponent, and he has all diamonds.

LS card art - I like most of the card art in general, but the LS seems "blah" to me.

They will never have anything close to my name in here, but they did have "Darwin Barney" for years. It was close enough that years ago my wife said "they have your name in there"? To be fair, we're both old and deaf.
In last year's game, I fell off my chair when a Pirates minor leaguer had my first name. Alas, at age 27, batting .194 in AA, I don't see him making it to the Show.

That sounds AWESOME.
I set up my RTTS player, opted to be drafted by a "random" team, and was selected by the Dodgers. I've never been randomly drafted by a good team before.

I'm good so far - I'm showing 2-0, and I'm actually 2-0. Those who are showing 0-2 are obviously playing this mode incorrectly.
