Here's San Diego, the catchers leg guards have yellow trim and black leg straps which once again is not currently possible because the yellow trim and the leg straps have to be the same color as they are treated as the same texture.

So are we getting more equipment or not, I'd like to start a franchise.

I have to say, I'm very disappointed that the Nike catchers gear wasn't added in the patch this morning. It was shown in the trailers leading up to the game and it was in the tech test. I feel like I've been duped as a consumer. There has been a complete lack of transparency from the staff, no acknowledgment whatsoever. Now I have to sit and wait for the next patch and who knows how long that will be from now. All I want to do is play franchise with all the real equipment as was advertised.

I agree 100% this is just flat out unacceptable from a consumer point of view. SDS advertised equipment that is not present in the game. They should offer complete refunds.

They can come out and make a statement on a variety of other topics, but not this for some reason. It’s totally bogus. I want my money back for the MVP edition.

What I find even more strange is things like Nike elbow guards are actually available in the market but not selectable for your players in franchise. So we have things like Nike and Jordan catchers gear which shows up on the website but are nowhere in the game, then things like Nike elbow guards that are available in the market presumably for your CAP but not available in franchise. Bit of a cluster.

Fingers crossed we get independent colors for the leg straps and the trim on catchers leg gear in the patch tomorrow.

HELLO!!! Is this thing on? The color options of the catchers leg gear is wrong and you know it because we corresponded in email last year and it was passed on to the art team. The catchers gear should have 4 color options just like the chest protector. Also, No Force 3 gear which is worn by multiple people, and you're missing the most worn pair of cleats in the MLB for a few years now, the Nike Alpha Huarache lows. SDS, I wish you took as much pride in authenticity as you do about your fantasy card collecting. PS: If you turn down the depth of field in cut scenes the frame rate wouldn't dip so low.

Why not start a franchise now instead of waiting for something that may never come? Because equipment when updated is also updated in your active franchise mode.

If you update the players equipment inside of franchise then the edits will only be present inside that one particular save file.

Why is it you need to update every single player most of which you won’t see very much. I find it odd this sort of thing is preventing you from enjoying the game. Why even buy the game if this is the case?

REALISM my dude. For all 30 teams, other than setting the correct equipment, for opening day I set the correct 40 man rosters, manually injure players according to real life, set lineups, bench players, starting rotations and bullpens. Then I follow all the real life transactions, call ups, trades etc on a in day game basis. I also make sure players are wearing the correct uniforms of the day if possible and make sure the weather is correct and decide if the roof is open or closed according to real life.

Only one flaw for me there; it is not REAL, it is a video game. Why have real in a simulation? In a way, that is the entire point of the game, to do it YOUR way.

Yikes. So you spend $60+ on a game and then wait around for all the equipment to be 100% accurate before you can enjoy the game? Sounds a bit tedious imo but w/e you do you.
