The OP takes this game way too seriously. It’s a game. If a person needs to compare it to a job or treat it like a job, they need to find a new hobby. I already have a full time career, I don’t need a second job playing a video game that I’m not getting paid to play. If it felt that way, I’d delete off my system if my wife didn’t already do it for me. There are too many other things in life to worked up about and a video game is not even in my top 100.
I got 99 problems and not having the Roberto Alomar card ain't one.
Ok....yes it is!!!!!!!!! I'm missing one card. Sure there are wars and pandemics and Fresh Princes slapping comedians in the name of love.....but where is my Roberto Alomar card??

In my line of work, you fail means you fail. Your not rewarded until your successful which means you try and try until you get it right.
I carry that mentality when I come home and get on this game.
It frustrates me to see my opponent be rewarded for failing, and myself, I don’t want the game to hold my hand. The hitting in this game does exactly that. It comes down to many things from retaining players to game sales, online gaming is huge business and there’s lots of money to be made if your game is setup the right way.
With all that being said, I’m turning a new page and accepting it. Many many suggestions/ideas along with tough criticism have been brought forward to the people responsible for this game, some of those have been implemented. With minimal changes over the years towards the hitting design it’s apparent they’re content with what it is and that seems to be the near future as well. I enjoy this game at times and want to throw it away at times, at the end of the day it’s the only game I’ve consistently played for years and despite its flaws I’ll keep playing….and accepting the flaws and randomness throughout the gameplay. The content has always been top notch.
I’ve also been critical towards other people and I apologize for that. I tried to never insult anyone but if you took my criticism as an insult…again, my apologies. Here’s to a new year and hope everyone achieves your goals. Have fun.
Took me a full year of playing (‘20) to realize the results weren’t entirely in my control. In ‘21 I was no longer frustrated by bogus hitting results. It allowed me to stay calm on focus on the next pitch / at bat. As a result, I got 3x better at the game in ‘21 and won well over 3/4 of my online games, flew through moments and showdowns etc.
Credit to CBREV and his videos for helping me make this change.
I agree 100% the RNG is frustrating. I wish they’d tone it down OR offer a mode where it truly is stick skills (RS “Extreme”) or something.
At the end of the day I can’t blame them for wanting to retain their player base with RNG to give everyone a chance. At the end of the day if you put more good contact on the ball more often, youll get more hits.

Unless he is infantry or special operations in the military. Technically both are considered to be professional athletes.

My life mentality is do what puts the least amount of stress on yourself. Work bringing you down? Don't bring it home with you, as soon as you punch out, work doesn't exist. Your job bringing you extreme stress? Find a way to lessen your work load if possible. Enjoy life, don't stress through it.
