Day 1 - Fishing in Bass Tournament
Day 2 - Fishing in Bass Tournament
Day 3 - Fishing in Bass Tournament until 1pm-Drive home and start up the game.I mean this as a genuine question and not as a snarky cityboy question, so please don't take offense. But what is the point of fishing "tournaments?" Is it actually possible to be "good" at fishing? Don't you just throw a hook into the water and just kinda hope you have good luck? What would make one person a better fisherman than the next guy?

No offense taken. There is a lot more to fishing and "catching" than just throwing a hook in the water. Most people fish for bass with artificial baits like plastic worms, topwaters and jigs and catching has everything to do with presentation of the baits to the fish and getting them to bite. If you are better at it than others, you catch more fish plain and simple. The fish are weighed and released back into the water for another day. So to answer your question...yes it is possible to be good at fishing lol.

Thank you, that makes sense. I've gotten quite good at presenting the worm, so I should be good at reeling in the juicy thicc basses.

Don't forget to set your settings and camera's!
Will we be seeing you this year?
Not at launch, but I will probably play at some point in the year when I get bored with everything else I still have on my list (GT 7, Elden Ring). But I'm in no rush compared to previous years, hate to be a downer but I feel like this franchise actually releases worse products instead of improvements on a yearly basis so it's hard for me to get excited anymore.

Then I will be a deer in the headlights finding out what to do.
Also Anne Hathaway? What about Anna Kendrick, how would your wife feel about that?Re: "Deer in headlights"... I was 100% that last year. I had a plan, and then got all Tommy-Boy-Excited.
Re: "Anna Kendrick"... my wife knows I have a thing for Anna, so I can't. However, watching "Interstellar" with my wife a few years ago, I kept saying "Why did she do that to her hair?". So, I'm safe with Anne Hathaway.
Interstellar was great and I’d like to take Salma to the 5th dimension.

To those who stated they will sell EVERYTHING but Diamonds: is it worth the wait to sell off over priced LS Golds, Bronzes, and Commons; if you're trying to finish the LS Collection ASAP?
I would assume you would keep any players that are close to bumping up a tier; especially Golds.

Can't the same thing be said about MLB The Show! OHH!!!!

Also, is anyone going to keep their pre-order Diamonds or are you going to sell them and get them later?
-
1 - Take a nap when I get off work at 5:00.
2 - Give wife the only attention she will get until Monday.
3 - Open packs.
4 - Realize I got nothing in packs.
5 - Flip for 30 min or so.
6 - Grind moments/showdown.
7 - Flip until I must sleep. Also, Christina Hendricks and Olivia Munn is where it’s at. Anna Hathaway? C’mon.

So many monstrously wrong takes in this thread.

I will buy Trout, Acuna, Soto, Trea and DeGrom so step 1 is going to be buying stubs for me. Then I will create my Ballplayer since I want to max him out asap since that’s the best player in the game for the first few months (Corey Seager is my stance so definitely grinding for his 90 first).
Will focus on Conquest for the stat grind and then eventually shift to BR and Events. Think I did the USA Map at least 30 times last year and for some reason I enjoy the mindless nature of crushing the CPU over and over again and taking tiles away like Risk.
-
- Watch the opening video (tradition)
- Settings/Camera
- Cruise through rosters
- Open packs
- Build team/roster
- Moments
- Conquest
- Coop
Already took Friday off. We can also flex hours at my office, so it will only cost me a couple hours pto.

I just did the USA Map again for no reason other than to try a new roster. I get iI.

I keep every card I get and only flip/sell the legend/flashbacks.

Yeah, I'm assuming if they have those Bronze legends early in the cycle again; you can make some serious coin loading up on them.

I tell myself I'm going to do this every year, and then sometime in June I will inevitably sell a bunch of gold legends for 3K a piece to buy a Headliner pack or something, and then by September those cards are 35K with a huge waitlist.
