Trout is a FoTF card

What kind of effect will this have on the cost of LS trout? I imagine most people will lock him in for the collection, so I don't know if it will have an enormous impact. But it would be nice to go back to MLBTS19 when Trout was like 150K all year instead of 400K+/
You have to think this will have an effect cause anyone can get Trout and assuming parrel is back get him up to a 95. Yes Lie series Trout can be a 99 but I'm not spending 400k I stubs for a Trout card when I have a free option off the rip.
-
I don't like it. Giving Trout and Acuna worse cards than their live series off the rip is stupid imo
-
There's no guarantee that trout is the best card in the game at the start this year.

Yes there is. The only ones close were just as injured as Trout was. Shohei would need a massive Jump and Vlad doesn't have the defensive attributes to pass him
-
Trouts LS should not be high at the start of the year, The last 3 years he has only avg 100 games a year. In the last 5 years Trout has missed over 300 games.

Harper maybe?

This will only be year two for me, but I just wonder if this is a way to make DD more enjoyable and accessible for the average player. It kind of makes sense to me for high diamond LS players….especially with moving to Switch. Give free Trouts and Acunas with better ones hanging out in front the entire time.

I really doubt it. There are never any big jumps between games for LS overalls. Most of the time they either stay the same or drop
-
How does this work? Is it based on the whole career or the last 3 years? Juan Soto technically should have the highest LS card based on his last 3 seasons though like Vlad, his defense knocks that down.
I can't see it being anyone but Trout though.
-
Some people never get Trout's live card because he costs so much. This gives them a chance to play with at least a lower version of him.

And only has 9 consecutive years of top 5 MVP voting….what a hack, grab some pine Trout!

This isn’t totally on-topic, but prompted me to wonder:
If you’re a team up to bat against the opposing team’s closer, down 1 in the 9th with two outs and the bases loaded, who would you want as your hitter coming to the plate right now: Trout? Soto? Ohtani? Vlad? Someone else? -

But for big names? Shohei.

He's over the hill at age 30 lol. In all honesty watch him have his best season this year.

Does this maybe mean that live series players may be lower rated to start the year? It just feels off to give Acuna and Trout cards presumably lower than LS.

Clutch performers with a great postseason track record and still great right now???? I'd have to Soto. He really came alive in the 2019 playoffs after a few successful seasons and was utterly clutch. Since then, he's been the best overall offensive player.
