The perks are still the same nonsense. Progress in this attribute, but you'll have to regress in this attribute. It's corny as hell. I want a 99 across the board attribute player. Don't penalize our attributes for playing the game. That's ridiculous.
But hey ..we got podcast to look forward to that no one cares about and just skips. SMH..... -

I was really hoping we'd get an actual pre draft system/workouts, letting us pick an agent, more changes iin the minor league system. Making it less of a grind. Like maybe a story mode that lets us make choices. But I'll gladly take some awesome podcast that have zero effect on gameplay vs stuff that actually makes sense to add! SDS rocks!

You have not been able to do that for years have you? I stopped playing RTTS as my main mode when they introduced archetypes because that is what limited your player.
But at this stage you should not hold out hope that they are ever going to go back to the old ways.

18: Went to many archetypes with hard caps
19: Went to a few archetypes with caps you could increase with training to all 99
20: Same as 19, but now you could add pitches in training from the start instead of waiting for reaching the majors
21: Have 30 different archetypes to potentially grind, slashing base attributes to 50, remove any menu that lets you simply and clearly see your player's attributes all totaled up -
