For those who do not know.

Gran Turismo locks some very desirable and expensive cars behind Invitations. You can't buy the car without the invitation. So far that does not seem too bad but.

    1. Invitations expire - inducing FOMO on players.
    2. They patched the game today and reduced payouts on the most popular races for earning credits, in some cases by 50% or more
    3. You can buy 2,000,000 credits on the store for $20.

I have an invitation to buy 4.6 million credits worth of Aston Martin cars (two cars). It expires in on Sat night and I only have 1.6 million in credits. With the nerfing of the race payouts there is no way for me to reach that number short of buying credits on the PS Store.

Needless to say, I find that predatory and I am pretty much giving up on the game

How would MLB implement anything like this?

On the contrary they are doing bs like this with the throwback uniforms being available only on DD and not co-op/online rated. Similar to WWE2K having certain wrestlers only playable via Myfaction definitely a crappy look

Limited time cards or unlockables of any kind that are non-sellable. Not sure how that would look but I do know that it just killed Gran Turismo for me.

They do this on all their games. Dismiss, dismiss, dismiss, dismiss.

That is one of the most unappealing menu screens I've ever seen.
