Aroldis Chapman has hit 104 several times. Jordan Hicks hit 104 on five straight pitches 3 years ago. Mauricio Cabrera hit 105 about 6 years ago. What’s your point?

Literally no point other than comedic delight. Saw an article about the guy at lunch, know people are looking for the 102 outlier to get scaled down, and thought the satirical proclamation that it just happened on 1 pitch proved SDS’ programming was right and nothing wrong with the outlier fastballs.
As far as the “I played college baseball” it’s a reference to some other poster who a few months back was talking about some nonsense in the game not being real (can’t recall what now) and part of his his basis for his argument was “I should know because I payed college baseball”
