Swing timings on PS5

I’m not sure if this is a console or controller hardware issue or maybe has something to do with next gen vs old gen but I have been playing the tech test on PS5 since it launched and I’ve enjoyed it for the most part but a lot of times it would feel like I was on a pitch or at least close but I would be very late and not even make contact. I jumped back onto my Xbox one which I played exclusively on during 21 just to see the difference and while the PS5 expectedly has much better graphics and feels a lot smoother, all of a sudden I was early on 102 heaters and was crushing hanging off speed rather than being just late or late side of good on a lot of them. IF it’s a hardware issue then so be it but if it’s an issue within the game where having to render the better graphics causes a slight input delay then that’s a pretty big problem IMO.

Same for me. Early for 102mph in 21 legend, and can't catch up 101mph in hof now in 22 tech test. Didn't realize it may be ps5 problem.

I think it is most definitely a ps5 issue or at least a ps5 controller issue. I played the first 4 months of 21 exclusively on ps5 mainly because I am just so much more comfortable with their controller and I was ALWAYS late on outlier. Then I saw somewhere online a thread about this very issue so I decided to download it on Gamepass. I haven't played it on ps5 since even though I do feel the game plays a little smoother on ps5. To me trying to hit on xbox compared to ps5 it almost feels like you're playing a different game.

Had my Ps5 for a week and the drift was awful. Sent it in, took 6 mo for it to come back on a new controller. Deadzone % is a must.

Yes i bought my second controller in July it already have stick drift what a waste of money. So I am going to buy a third from best buy with a warranty and take it in for a new one soon as it start stick drifting. Shame on Sony they know their controllers trash and not doing nothing about it -
