Offline Practice

Whatever is different about this mode needs to somehow be implemented in Diamond dynasty and online play. The game looks a tad better to me as well as it plays so much smoother and holds frames. I am starting to wonder if it is because there is no crowd (as well as no connectivity obviously). If we had the option to disable crowd or make it static and lower shadows/textures, I think everything would work better online like it does in practice. Heck, if conquest/moments/March to Oct/RTTS play like this and Play vs. CPU gets ironed out to it, then this port will actually be really good. Hitting and pitching feel so different in this compared to every other mode available.

Hitting online is the hardest part. The low frames mean there is NO chance of catching up to a fastball. Either too early or too late on every 4 seam.

After it's all said and done, this is where I stand as well. If framerate can be improved on hitting, then the Switch version has a fighting chance. I wish I played the old Vita versions, but they should copy what was being done there to smooth that out. Otherwise the Switch version is just a glorified card managing device for DD...
