Game crashes to dashboard when a message is entered after matchmaking fails (PS5)

I decided to connect my keyboard to my PS5 and chat on MLB 22 matches. Here's a crash I found that I was able to recreate multiple times.

1. Plugged in my wireless USB keyboard to the PS5.
2. Start a 2v2 or 3v3 matchmaking.
3. Select the keyboard option and start to chat.
4. Matchmaking fails and get dumped back to main menu.
5. Finish typing message and press enter.
6. Game freezes and then crashes to dashboard.
