I played a few games using Quick Counts in Online Rated with regular teams back in January after not touching the game in months. And I gotta say it was refreshing.

It didn’t take too much from the pitching strategy, while adding to a better(?)/more engaging gameplay by feeing more action packed and obviously cutting down the time needed to complete a 9 Inning game.

It would make sense in the spirit of grinding DD, and Ranked is an important part of the grind. I get it, Ranked is supposed to be thee competitive mode but let’s be real, the game has proven not to be that competitive and could use an injection of fun and efficiency.

Was thinking either Quick Counts or 7 Inning games could be the best format for DD Ranked Seasons. Not sure which would be less controversial to implement but the game could be a slog and benefit from each.

I think it would be a good option to have. if you want to play the quick count then you can join someone else that wants to play the quick count. If you don't don't then don't join that particular game.

Please no. Keep quick counts in a handful of events and that’s it.

Yes! I forgot to specify it should be implemented as a toggle setting.

I admit, one of the reasons I like it because it makes being patient at the plate a bit easier. But that goes hand in hand with the fun factor.

I know waiting for a decent pitch to hit isn’t that fun when seeing consistently 5+ pitches per at bat, and I can’t imagine it to be fun throwing 3+ dirt/junk balls per at bat either. So just gettimg straight to business helps the game flow/action and ultimately fun.
