Bunts
-
Bunts when squaring for a sacrifice as opposed to a drag bunt come off the bat way too hard. This eliminates bunting from the strategy of the game. If you want to hunt with a runner on first or even second the way it is right now it’s almost a certain double play. The show 17 had great hunting mechanics if I remember correctly and there’s been a downturn since then

Good. Screw the bunters.
Yes, I know it screws over the few of us who like to play small ball when appropriate to manufacture runs but most of the bunters use bunting as a full game strategy because fielding mechanics are broken - even when bunt defense is setup.

Those guys use drag bunts most of the time not sac bunts. I just want to be able to hunt a guy over from second or bunt with my pitcher without a dp happening more often than not. For me the whole thing might be fixed if they added a dh to dd

I bunted a few times and yes it was to hard beyond a drag bunt.

I play small ball, bunt to move the runner from 1st to 2nd. If you don’t put the runner in motion & bunt, the runner is usually forced out at 2nd base.

If you want to hunt play other games. Hunting is fun in RDR2.
