Freeze off in a cross platform game

Idk if my opponent unplugged his cord or if we were stuck in a freeze off… but a fouled ball to 3rd base that made it to LF got me stuck for about 2 mins and then the lost connection message popped up

I also had something similar to this happen in multiple games. There would be a hit and then either they would disconnect or a freeze off and then lost connection message. Also had it happen many times trying to start a 3 v 3 game

Xbox player pops out and before my ps4 teammate can hit we enter a freeze off

We had a freeze off in a friendly. My buddy is on a PS4 and I'm on a PS5. It happened after he hit a homer over the centerfield wall.
