Am I the only person who plays WORSE in the beginning of the season?
I am currently rated so low that I can't post it.

Pitching and hitting the same, but losing in embarrassing fashion.

I think it's over-confidence and lack of concentration.

Like when the Phillies get whooped against the Marlins every time they need a series win-- or the way the Mets choke all the time (ah, 2007... poor, poor Mets).

I flat stink in the Minors.
    Anyone else?

It’s the WS guys who intentionally tank to play in lower tiers so they can get to 30 wins quicker.

I've suffered some embarrassing losses in lower tiers too but it's the top tier guys slumming it to get easy wins. Plus easier hitting difficulty makes it was easier to abuse us none WS players.

I really hope they find a way to balance this next year. I'd be perfectly fine with them going back to the old reward system. I just means I'd need to grind the market a bit longer to ensure I got these players but it beats people slumming to boost for extra win rewards.

Imagine putting so much stock into a record or a rating that you "can't post it". Overconfidence, lack of concentration or maybe you're just not as good as you think you are? Happens to all of us. Keep slugging and worry less about things that do not matter and most of all don't forget to have fun.

Edit: you're batting .199 in RS over 272 games. Maybe you should lower your expectations? Just a thought.

The way the game works now, with pinpoint, pitcher confidence, outlier, and many really good cards due to end of season, you can get owned by just about anyone if you don’t score early.

Also, no pci home runs, etc.

    It’s really a [censored] shoot.

I’ve had games where my first 9 hitters including my pitcher all had good swings and they were all outs. Yet opponents first decent swing is a moonshot, game is just awful. Feels like mlb 18.
