I'm not judging this years game based on a short, blink and you'll miss it trailer, I want to see all the vids first.

Every day I play this game and read these posts, I thank God that I know absolutely nothing about computers and oy play this One video game, because to me, it's amazing. I have a ton of fun, love the content and do not understand a word of what you're saying.

That is not to say that I don't respect your point if view and if I was an expert on computers and video games, I'm sure I'd see the cracks in the facade. That's the problem with being an expert about something you love, it's hard not see all its flaws.

I haven't played a video game regularly since junior high when I played High Heat. So, to me, this game is fantastic.

i hear you mate its one of the few games i still play - its great to be critical like this poster, at the same time also to just be content with these privileges that we get in gaming itself, having time off, many places in the world don't have this luxury

I hear you/understand where you are coming from. I've used computers for my whole life, since I was 7 (around 40 years now) ...so a lot of this comes I wish I didn't understand this stuff so well a lot of the time, TBH.

Like you, I am not a big gamer....I only play MLBTS, NHL '21/'22 (with my kids), and Microsoft's Flight Simulator. My main game though is MLBTS...and my kids think I am crazy for playing it, and they think it is harder than the games they play (for me it is easier, yet I've had ton of practice playing MLBTS).

The reason for this thread is to hopefully get SDS to make minor adjustments that will make the game even better. They made some pretty big mistakes with '21. Realistically, '21 should have never been released. TBH ...if other software companies released a product like '21 in the state it was in, there would've been multi-million dollar lawsuits against those companies. SDS thinks they are protected from lawsuits, yet in reality they are not. The games market is made up of kids, and realistically the kids just get taken advantage of by game developers who release whatever code they want...as they know kid's won't know how to answer/respond and will just live with it (which, frankly, is just not right).

My comments above are not only to make the game better for myself, yet also kids who don't know how to/or what to say to make the game better. SDS and other game companies might think their customers are actually kids, yet they aren't, really. Their customers are the parents/aunts/uncles/grandparents who pay for the game year and year out. If we don't buy the game, the kids don't play it.

So, as both a parent and a player of the game....yes, I am going to voice my opinion when I see significant shortcomings in the product. Essentially, with my comments I am speaking with my wallet .... and I have very little interest in '22 right now based on my last few years playing the game and what I see in '22 so far. '22 looks to be a pass/yawn release right now....and not a big upgrade (heck, I don't think SDS will even compile the code with FPS Boost patch .... which is just irresponsible and negligent on their part). It is up to us who understand the shortcomings to point them out to make the product better so that those who can't speak up/don't understand the issues can benefit.

While I don't think any points you are making are wrong the top 2 ways to get SDS to ignore your posts:
    Be insulting
    Mention lawsuits

Also as far as lawsuits and everything, I Don't think they have much to worry about if EA isn't being shut down considering they have a much more forgiving model as far as just earning things through gameplay.

Yeah, look at BF2042, now there are rumors of potential lawsuits, but even that isn't a slam dunk if sued they'd lose kind of thing, no way any lawsuit against MLB would have merit in the eyes of a court.

Ok, so from what I can gather from this post is that you come on here berating this company and post a video from a streamer, who like most streamers berate the game when it's not going their way but praise it when it goes their way, who says they're tired if the game; yet will have it day 1 and will probably have the LS Collection completed.

And then on the up side, after bashing them, you type up a manifesto worth of questions about the game's issues.

    See you in 22.
