Lol. If it brings a little comfort, I'm just waking up and reading this and was kind of like looking at the cartoons in the Sunday paper when I was a child.
If you were only on one and a half by Eckersly, that is a problem. Slam one tall boy before each showdown and Nolan is a breeze.
I feel your pain though. I got lucky with Nolan the first time. Is he mentally beating you that's adding to the strikeouts? If so, that is the last 3 or 4 RS games I played.
Terrance Gore is a life saving pinch runner. He'll be a valuable asset in 22 early on! I was already a pretty big fan of him after he made hundreds of thousands on the market.
Hahahahahahaha, thanks for enjoying. And I have a pit bull that is very similar. They are the sweetest but you're like....bud, I'm dealing with a thing right now.... we're angry.
I'll try it again today. Might as well.

Man, this was heyo(hell)
Failed vs. Fernando because of 2 baserunning blunders, but beat it the 2nd time. No one mentioned we get 25 outs for the final boss who's Vulcanchange is just mean, lol -

One thing that I thought that helped if your always late to Nolan's fastball and it might sound crazy but was to just sit circle change and curveball. It's kind of hard to make yourself not swing at the fastball but trust me I know from first hand experience I'd swing at the first couple 4-seams and be extremely late, then get extremely frustrated and then I'd start swinging wildly at everything and the curves and changes he hung I would be super early on because I was constantly trying to catch up to the fast ball. Of course you don't want to use that strategy playing someone online cause they'll just start spamming that fastball but the cpu won't and I've noticed he'll hang one you can crush about every 1-2 at bats. I'd actually do the same thing with Degrom in the TA3 showdown and it worked pretty well there.

I hate when I come down with a case of The Swings.

Id really like some help improving my hitting. I hear guys on here saying what a cake walk this showdown is. I tried it 3 times. Twice I couldn't move past Valenzuela and once I couldn't get past Lee.
I'm housesitting and the TV here is insanely large. I thought that would make it easier but I'm having trouble big time offensively and hoping it's getting use to the TV and not that I suck. This is my first year playing the Show but I've been playing since May and have completed all offline content and collected every player card not named Alomar (throws things all over the room, knowing this is not a real world problem) so while I'm somewhat new, I feel like I should have advanced past this rookie ability.
What is a good way to work on my hitting without wanting to put my head through this gratuitously obese television?
This game does not play well on a big screen. You really need a 27” monitor. I play on a BenQ.
