Pirouettes in the Outfield
-
When a guy does pirouettes by his fielder before catching a lazy fly ball or pop-up, is it a form of talking trash?

It's no different from people bunt dancing. It's usually done by people who are no good at the game, so they're trying to get in the head of their opponent. Someone did that to me once and then missed the ball and gave up an inside the park homerun. They immediately quit, and I laughed.

It's because it's one of the only times in this game where you can control what happens on the screen. That's why.
Try intentionally making a bad throw into the stands. You used to be able to do that back in 19 and prior titles, but they got rid of that.
The game plays on rails. It can be fun to run around in the outfield just to give the finger to the rail-based nature of the game.
Hope my explanation helped. It came from the heart.
