Has anyone ever successfully back picked to first with their catcher in DD?

I see my opponents try it semi-frequently and it has literally never been successful. Granted, I never take an extra leadoff step so that could ne why I'm always safe, but does it ever actually work? Have any of you ever seen it successful outside of someone rounding a base too far?

It worked sometimes in 16 and 17 but after that I've never seen it work.
