Yes both sinkers and cutters are fastballs. Which is why players having this quirk are deadly in this game.

Can your CAP obtain dead red or say homebody at some point? I mean I'm sure it would take X amount of games played to have a base to be able to calculate whatever it is that says you outperform at home or road. Know what I mean?

Nope. CAP cannot get active quirks. They are reserved for active present day players.
