Lightning Josh Bell, Lightning Rhys Hoskins, and Lightning Charlie Blackmon. No Mondesi is a bummer but these are the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th best options IMO so no complaints here

I don't at this point. An event reward is the only place left for him now and there are too many legends left to justify giving him a card

I hope we do anyway. This is the first year I've played DD and I love using Mondesi's live series in BR and I've heard great things about that Mondesi lightning card.

I don't think it's about what's justified, though. We got a stupid 99 Wander and stupid 99 Torkleson, both cards I like but both cards that were never "justified."
Might be more about fan service at this point. I guess we'll see....

Mondesi even getting that POTM card at all last year was fan service IMO. He has never been overly good at all. At least Wander and Tork have the potential to get to that level. Mondesi is the 2nd coming of Jurickson Profar

You wouldn't find that in a classics pack anyway. The only classics are Finest, Monthly awards, Postseason, and future stars. And Finest, Monthly, and Postseason are the easiest Griffey collections to do anyway.

Helton, Arenado, Walker, Castilla, Cron, Story, Hampson, Bichette and now a Blackmon all you need is a Catcher. Can anyone think of a good Rockies Catcher?

Charles Johnson would go well with a Marlins build as well. Him, Kevin Brown, Moises Alou and Renteria and you almost have their first world series team.

Jeff Reed does have the most fWAR of any catcher while actually playing for the Rockies, at a whopping 4.0 lol.
Iannetta has 3.5, Torrealba has 3.2, Johnson has 2.4, and Girardi has 0.3.
The best catcher that’s ever played for the Rockies is Jonathan Lucroy, but those guys above are the only real options for a Rockies uniform card
