Question about PS5
-
Ok, so I know that I can transfer my progress over to a PS5. But does that also mean that I won't be able to utilize the PS4 anymore?
There is a other game that I play and it didn't have the upgrade to PS5 capability when I purchased it. And if I would want to play it more; I would either have to play it on the PS4 or buy it again for the PS5.
Pretty much what I'm asking is can I have my GT as the Primary acct for both the PS5 AND PS4 at the same time?

The ps5 is backwards compatible. When the game doesn't have ps5 upgrade capability, that essentially only means the game hasn't been optimized for the ps5. So there will be no upgraded graphics or anything, but the ps4 version if the game will be playable on the ps5 with no issues.
This is assuming you own a digital version of the game, or own a disk version of the ps5. If you play a disk version of the ps4 game and have a digital only ps5 I believe you would need to jump between systems.

You should be able to play games on both if your psn is the same. You just can’t be logged into both systems.
My PS4 is still hooked up and once in a while if I’m lazy I’ll play on it. I haven’t had any issues not being able to play my games on either ps4 or ps5

I do NOT think you would be able to play it on PS4 anymore because PS5 has modes exclusive to next gen only. Such as Staduim Creator & Online Leagues.

I play the PS4 version on my PS5 because I feel I don’t have as much lag. And I have switched back and forth on the 4 and 5 with no issues so you should no problem doing it

I play offline. When I got my PS5 in July, I alternated between systems only getting a notification that there was a conflict with my CAP once, so I stopped playing on the 4

I have a question about the PS5 too… will they ever become available??? Or will I just have to wait for the PSSix!?
