Veteran and Breakout Collections Need to be Fixed

The big collection should not be easy, it should be a grind. Griffey (like Trout last year) is not a participation award. It has taken most of us 8 months to be in the position to get Griffey. That is a lot of games played, a lot of flipping, a lot of exchanges. Honestly, I would be angry if I played the game 8 months and someone who just picked up the game on Friday to be in the same place I was from a team and stub perspective. Griffey can still be completed it will just take some time and even for a lot of people that just got the game it will be a lot shorter than 8 months. The way they have TA's set up, you can basically double dip with your stats and games played.

These collections are literally not able to be finished for anyone starting the game today, thus preventing all new players from having any shot at Griffey. In the Breakout collection, there are several cards with hundreds of max bids (and you need at least 1) and in Veteran, all the bronzes (which you need) are sitting at thousands of max bids and not moving. Since you can only skip one collection, this is just bad planning by SDS and needs to be fixed ASAP, so that everyone has a shot (even if expensive/time consuming) of getting Griffey before 22 drops.
back in 19, we had a collection called the honus wagner collection, extremely tough to get, took a lot of grinding and time getting cards, not every card is suppose to be unlocked right away, it defeats the purpose of grinding the entire year. People that grindinded from day one know these cards will be needed.

I started 2 months ago & already have Kershaw. I'm NOT rushing to complete the collection anytime soon because I really do NOT need to have Griffey. But 80% of all Vet & BO cards can be bought within the market. the other remaining 20% you can get from Player programs. Complete this months Forever Daily program to get 4 Rewind packs to get the Rookies needed for the player programs giving a Vet or BO cards as the prize. All other "Non-Evolution" Programs can be easily completed. You just seem to be too over whelmed with the amount of cards needed. But it is really not that many needed & you will see that as you continue to progress along in the game.

Difference between being a grind and being impossible. I’ve been playing since release date and the early server issues screwed me out of the Henderson veteran card from one of the conquests. I contacted customer support and they can’t be bothered to give me a card I earned that everyone else has access to.

I can't get Alomar because I missed the 1st inning and we all know he's banished ( yet they kept his card) but at least I didn't earn that, you should definitely have Rickey. Maybe try contacting them again, some guy on hear picked the same card twice in TA5 and got it fixed same day (allegedly), maybe they are back from their 6 month vacation.
I also can't get bronze Harmon Killebrew for the reasons brought up by the OP. Too many buy orders but nobody is selling. I already got Griffey and they're just blocking the completionist in me from being satisfied.

While I agree with you, if you just picked up this game recently it would still take you a hell of a long time to acquire all the cards necessary for Griffey...either someone is spending every waking hour grinding or by the time they get him the previews for '22 are coming out already.
I think the Griffey drop was mostly to reward those of us who played all year long, but it was also to keep people online and playing (and likely spending real $$$ on stuff).....from an SDS business perspective it would be stupid to still try and acquire new players yet make it impossible to get the big rewards.

What you talking about. You should read the post before you respond, to know who you should be replying to. I been here since day 1 I have that card. I am about to have every Flashback and Legend in the game, I am 10k away for buying Ruth.

I contacted customer support and they can’t be bothered to give me a card I earned that everyone else has access to.

That would be the Mystery Map and it is repeatable, Did you try to repeat the map to see if it would give you the Card, Did you look to see if it is greyed out when you look at what you need to complete for that map?
I tried but not in awhile. I guess I could always take a real quick run at it after work
Yeah you could try, It -probably will not give you the card if you have completed everything and you can check in the CQ menu of that map.
Oh man, that would drive me nuts. I can't get Alomar because I missed the 1st inning and we all know he's banished ( yet they kept his card) but at least I didn't earn that, you should definitely have Rickey. Maybe try contacting them again, some guy on hear picked the same card twice in TA5 and got it fixed same day (allegedly), maybe they are back from their 6 month vacation.
I also can't get bronze Harmon Killebrew for the reasons brought up by the OP. Too many buy orders but nobody is selling. I already got Griffey and they're just blocking the completionist in me from being satisfied.
Fyi I am not the one who needs the Henderson card Yeah, They should have just left the Alomar card since many of us have it already. @mikerfofc that has that issue.
My bad, I saw that after I posted. Yeah, I realize the Alomar card is a hot button issue, but wish they would have just released him again for these daily moments. But, that's life.

And flexing about the cards you have, why. There are numerous people who already have every market card, including myself. Other than personal satisfaction, who cares.

The big collection should not be easy, it should be a grind. Griffey (like Trout last year) is not a participation award. It has taken most of us 8 months to be in the position to get Griffey. That is a lot of games played, a lot of flipping, a lot of exchanges. Honestly, I would be angry if I played the game 8 months and someone who just picked up the game on Friday to be in the same place I was from a team and stub perspective. Griffey can still be completed it will just take some time and even for a lot of people that just got the game it will be a lot shorter than 8 months. The way they have TA's set up, you can basically double dip with your stats and games played.
Difference between being a grind and being impossible. I’ve been playing since release date and the early server issues screwed me out of the Henderson veteran card from one of the conquests. Sorry if you see it as Flexing and good on you to have every card off the market, It was a goal and an accomplishment some people unlike you see it as so and not flexing. You can choose not to respond if you do not like what I post. What is it to you have if I post it or not. You have a choice to respond or not. If I do not like what someone post there is no reason to respond to it. If the Alomar card was a free type of card from completing any kind of collection and a Reward for BR, RS or whatever it should still be obtainable. Like I said not sure how the card was obtainable. SDS should either remove it from everyone or allow it to be in the game for everyone to still get. that is all I am saying in response to the person who wants to get it. You had to put in your 2 cents which has no value in that conversation.

I get what you're saying and actually I don't advocate that anyone has the card removed. I'm a completionist and I was actually using my example of missing out on Alomar to agree that people shouldn't just be handed the card who start today, I missed a month and won't be getting that card and that's life.
Nobody was flexing about the cards they have or don't have, he was just empathizing with a completionist.
@dbarmonstar_PSN Alomar was the daily moments boss for the first month. I'm not sure if that was April and May since the game came out late April or if it was a short month.

Gotcha, All the other daily moment cards are in the forever path for people to get. Alomar should have been added as well IMO. His legal problems would be why he was not, In the past players with those type of legal action were completely removed from the game.
