@ladyswampfox_xbl said in Who did this to the market:

Example: LS Vidal Brujan. There are 11 sell orders at 155 stubs. The next highest sell order is for 369.

There are several LS cards that have this sort of thing going on. SEVERAL low sell orders that severely undercut the next price. Wth.

I don't know who's doing this, but it must be how they get their sick kicks. What is to gain from making hardly any profit like this?

People open packs and donโ€™t even look at the boring market. I canโ€™t stand opening my packs and sell the cards for random prices I know they will sell for. I just like to play the game not the market. 189 for silver 89 for bronze and quick sell gold.

im actually doing exactly this - because i don't care about extra stubs, i love to give flash sales of cards - eat it

Flash sales on commons? Hmm ok, ill bite, heres the attention you crave. Claims to not care about extra stubs, spends time making sell orders to gain extra stubsโ€ฆlogic!

I say we all buy up the 15+ orders for these cards so that we can keep the market healthy. We shouldn't tolerate parasites like him

Wow. You don't get it. The parasite is you. You're taking a 5 stub common, and severely overcharging for it. Write this card off, it's now dead for you.

    Always one

I don't know what you mean. Please elaborate?

Thereโ€™s always one dckhead doing dumb sht like this, probably just a bored teenager expressing his angst.

Ohh. Might wanna edit that so the thread doesn't get locked.

I'm new to flipping cards so this really throws a wrench in my stub making. Does this happen often in the market? Will the prices for these players return to average?

I just buy them out if its a card im working the market on, I think its best to do that in case it crashes the value completely, which is what it appears they are trying to do.

Iโ€™d do this. Just buy the low bid.

Some people pull a card and just throw a Hail Mary on the sell price. They might have just put up a sell order with out looking at the true value of the card.

To the guy that said youโ€™re flipping wrong thatโ€™s dumb. I flip tons of common cards with great success. Yeah itโ€™s only a few hundred stubs a flip but with the companion app I can make 20k in an hour on the right common.

^ This, I gotta flip something while I wait on my 20 Ryan Kleskos to sell.

    I have 15 Betances, 10 Konerko, and 5 O'Day

You should help out your fellow player and take all of off their hands. It's the right thing to do. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Update: they were down to 786 so I threw one back on the pile.

If they want the card for a decent price for their collection, they can put in a low buy order. But exploiting the system and making other players lose out on stubs by putting in over 9000 undercharged cards is unacceptable. They would rather ruin the market for everyone instead of haggling for the best deal. It's laziness.

Lul people with 25 sell orders at an extortionately high price for henchmen, finger wagging people with 25 sell orders on commons. I love this forum ๐Ÿฅค๐Ÿฟ

108 sell orders for Dylan Bundy at 230. Further up, 73 orders for 240. This is excessive.

Welcome to the community market where people have the choice to put in orders for the price they want to buy or sell for. Much like the stock market, there are no guarantees of profits.

That is very true and some are willing to charge less than others for Orel but you get what you paid for.

Exploiting the system? People can sell for whatever they want between the high and low caps. I couldn't care less about your, or anyone else's profit margins.

The ones that sell Orel for cheap are ones you need to avoid.

I dont? I just sell my extra cards, and buy ones I need. In no way is that "exploiting the system".
