Is it actually worth playing right now

This happened to a few people last inning.

It counted the double XP earned prior to the inning drop and they hit the new 60k cap easily, with most of that XP not even counting towards the new inning.

Actually the easy fix would be that it's flipping November and there SHOULDNT be an XP cap.

How long does it take to hit the max xp limit? I have an injury that prevents me from sitting for long periods of time. So I am just honestly curious.

I have been playing for hours and I'm nowhere close. I know an XP cap is lame but truly, 60 xp from just gameplay is a massive undertaking. Even with double XP. Of course, if your goal is to race to the bosses then, it's safest to not play today. But I have been done with the 8th inning for 2 weeks, it's soooooo boring so I feel like I need to ration this time and I definitely won't be racing to the bosses.

I'm assuming we will get XP for Yount and Scott the way we did with Molina and Davis this inning.

That's good to know, but I doubt I'll ever come close to it. The most I think I've ever hit in 1 day is like 35.

Yeap happened to me too. I believe at the end of the last inning it was 4x XP that Thursday/Friday. Im off on fridays so I usually get on after I have my coffee. Maxed out the XP like 7k into new inning and I was kinda pissed cuz I usually play the most at night after the kids are in bed.
