Good thing I hit 650K last week
-
Turned the game on last night to play some Conquest and to try to catch up on last content.
Went into a Conquest game, on Rookie, and watch the CPU pitcher throw 9 out of the first 12 pitches in the dirt.
Shut the game off.
Turned it on today and went into the Daily. Watched Suarez hit Bay in the first AB, watched Hayes get picked off with two outs already in the second AB, watched Suarez throw four straight pitches in the dirt for the third AB, and watched Bay hit a Perfect/Perfect that died at the warning track in the final AB.
Shut the game off.
Guess I'll try again tomorrow.

Thanks for the update. We were worried that you stopped playing the game and deleted it from your PlayStation.

That’s weird because I have no issue with what you are describing. Maybe go to the practice area and practice your pci placement when you get a ball in the strike zone?

People keep saying this same stuff. I've never had any issues either. My only guess is that its directional users? I use zone and swing at nearly everything so it's never been a problem for me.

I've played this game since '15, and not once have I ever had a game of conquest or any other mode, at rookie or any other difficulty, where nine out of 12 pitches were in the dirt. But I suppose I could be wrong. Post a video and I'll apologize for doubting you.

I have experienced a few more balls on veteran and rookie. I usually never would get to a couple two tree ball counts. In a 3 inning game I might see 30 pitches. It’s not to crazy. Maybe an extra pitch or two an at bat at most.

Try not swinging. i take pitches and i ll draw a walk only once or twice in a game.
cpu is adaptive, if you dont swing out of the zone it will throw at least some strikes -
"In the dirt", I have learned means to people on this game, They are using Strike Zone cam and balls at the lower part of the screen. Meaning just maybe 6in below the strike zone. But to them it is "in the dirt", lol. Just like when a pitch is at the top of the screen and is about 6 in above the zone they say "at their head". Meaning letter high.

Nobody cares

Evidently 8 people, including you, so far cared enough to read the post and reply to it.
