I just started playing MLB 21 yesterday after playing MLB 20 a lot the last 2 months. I'm disappointed they took out the XP Reward Path. I enjoyed the extra rewards and seeing my profile go from bronze to silver level. Does anybody know why they took this out?

It's just SDS trying to do something new, fresh & different. I myself dont miss or need the personal profile tier level (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond). Also it does NOT truly reflect with On-Line game play Because anyone was able to get to Diamond Level as long as they did enough Off-Line stuff with Moments, Missions, Conquest, Vs PC & as well fore filling collections. The Content offered this year with being earned is the most so far to date from previous years & as well the easiest & quickest.

For those that do need to "Show OFF" & Flaunt how good they are ON-Line from very start of the game ... They can just use their WS Banners & BR 12-0 Banners. Even the 5x BR 12-0 Banner.

I don't really miss it myself. It gave a false sense of progression when you really weren't grinding towards anything good at all

Meh. Although I do miss the tickets and don't like how XP doesn't count after you finish the inning.

I understand completely what you all are saying. I was never one to brag about my accomplishments because quite frankly I'm not very good at the game. I earned most of my level ups by dominating on rookie mode and completing collections. I just miss the extra rewards. Feels like now XP is completely meaningless. That's really the biggest thing for me.

I didn’t care if they took away what level you were at on the XP path so others wouldn’t see it. I do miss rewards like 99 Frank Thomas and 99 Kershaw.

AGREED!!!!! Signature 99 Kershaw became the #1 card used that they chose to make the ultimate collections reward card this year. Do not know if they will release Signature 99 Thomas later on. The Awards Thomas card does NOT play how the Signature card did.

They absolutely will not make a Signature Frank Thomas. Though I agree that his Signature card played above his attributes, and I played better with it than I do with the Awards card, MLBTS19 was a different game than 21. The Awards card is not bad by any means; and, it has maxed out power from both sides, and great contact. He was a free card too, so I can’t complain.
