Why do guys who can't identify pitches still get to compete?

This is a real question. I just watched the game give my opponent a run just because. No seriously. He got it just because....
A fly ball to Bellinger with 2 outs and he just lets it drop. Ok a single right? Nope. Bellinger circles the ball and just looks at it like it's on fire. For no reason whatsoever. This is the animation it gives me. Now there is man on 3rd with 2 outs.
On a 3-2 count with 2 outs and a runner on 3rd JD Martines drops down a perfect bunt.
What happened to the "realisms" and "mlb averages" on this one? I'm really serious. Are we playing a Sim or an arcadey NBA Jam style game here where every game somebody will get BOOM-SHAKA-LAKA

Try a fly to second...fielder runs and drops it...hard single follows then 1st and second no outs... I get two outs and then a lazy fly to right....I put my guy under it and for no reason....the game pulled him away....ball hits the ground and its suddenly a 4-3 loss....oh I was pissed.....it was 4 -1 then, came back to 4-3 and the Swarber hit three consecutive fly ball hrs....then pops to infield....Comeback code big time.....crappy [censored] little league fielding is a plague in the game
