Hi all, so the wild card program was 75 points and 4 cards. The Division series was 100 points and 8 cards, what do you think the LCS will be? Anybody who has played before remember how they did it in the past?
I honestly hope the LCS and World Series are at least comparable to the DS, if not bigger.
Also. Who gets a card other than the obvious Yordan Alvarez (that card is going to smash).

Well I mean there were only 4 teams in the wild card and it was 75 points, so I would think that since there are only 4 teams left (now 3 as of writing this), it would be 75 points as well. The only way I could see them going to/over 100 points is if they want to hand out a lot of postseason cards and space them out, and there might not be enough room to do that in a 75 points program.
I think that Luis Garcia will get a card. He now holds the AL record for the longest No-Hitter bid in AL Postseason history. (5 and 2/3 innings)
I can't think of anyone else, but I also forgot how they did it the last 2 years. -

I hope there is an AJ Pollock card, i know he hasn’t done much but I have always done well with his cards.

Good call, he did hit 2 home runs with 5 rbis in game 5. It was a bit overshadowed by Chris Taylor haha, but an AJ Pollock card would be great.
I definitely think Yordan will be getting a card since he won the MVP. I didn't know that was the longest no hit bid in AL postseason history, that's cool.
I'm sure you're right that the LCS will match the wild card since there were the same amount of teams, it just feels like a much bigger program considering it's for the pennant and there will be at least 12 games, possibly 13 versus the 2 wild card. But that doesn't really change how many teams were involved hahaha.
I don't know, I'm kinda reasoning it out and willing it to be longer but I bet you will be right on the money.

If it's Luis Garcia instead of Yordan I'll cry.
If anything, I imagine it would be both. But definitely Yordan, he won the series MVP.
Let's call on our forum historian @SaveFarris_PSN
If you have a moment, what was the LCS program like last year? How many points, how many reward cards? Or was it a whole different format? Thanks so much. -
They’ll probably do 2 per team

For WC, DS, and LCS, they'd release a set of moments that worked exactly like Topps Now. (Do all the moments for that set & earn a pack that included half that round's cards.)
A couple of days after they released the LCS Moments set, they released the first half of a program similar to what they've done for WC and DS this year. Rewards included players from all rounds and duplicate WC/DS/LCS packs so you could pick up all the other cards you didn't get the first go-round.
The final half of the program was released a week later after the series was done and included all the WS cards AND 2018 PS MVP Steve Pearce as a bonus.

Rosario and Matzek for sure.
Maybe a 53 overall Luke Jackson too.

Don Larsen through a Perfect Game for the Yankees; how can Garcia hold the record with 5 2/3 innings?

Okay, thanks. I was a bit confused.

Historians also tend to split postseason and world series into separate categories with the first postseason not until 1969.

Riley earned his first game winning hit and is due for a new card as well.

Also had the home run and an rbi (triple?) Maybe double in game 2. He and Freeman are both due.
We also will have a few Braves to look forward to in the WS program regardless of if they win or lose. Braves fans are about to be very happy which might repay them for not getting Glavine or Maddux.

nobody is talking about eddie rosario

That's a perfect game bid. Not a no-hitter bid. Yes, they are both sort of the same thing, but they are put into different categories.

Yeah, I was kind of waiting for someone to say that; and I do agree. I just didn’t think they would bother to mention a 5.2 inning no-hit playoff game as a record if he were not a rookie. I could be wrong.
