NOOOO!!!! I just saw that. Since it was titled something like "Game's a joke", I just chalked it up to random complaining.

SDS dropped the ball on their release schedule. People should be playing games enjoying their Griffey card right now.
Their playoff content is pretty lame too.
I also think they might be too generous with stubs. Everything in the game is easily obtainable. No exclusivity at all.

I have no issues … I am a very dedicated player who only plays offline and I like having so many cards to choose from just won’t ever get event cards, ranked season or BR cards unless I buy

I am going to be the first one to say it; but I do not think those first two missions are actually on Rookie.
I needed to get four total bases without giving up a run and I ran out there with Gold Ozzie Smith, Milestone Mays, 42 Grisham, and Finest Anderson as my first four batters.
I bunted with Smith, because I got the bunting quirk, and he bunted RIGHT to the pitcher. I then hit a hanger, with Mays, that was caught in the outfield by a diving centerfielder. Then Grisham hit a liner right to the first baseman.
I didn't get to bat in the second inning as the CPU cracked a homerun on a slider low an away.
Next one was score two runs, before giving up a run, within three innings.
Same sequence batting.
Same result pitching.
Failed the first two within 5-7 minutes of starting.
Quit my run and will just concentrate in knocking out the TA Conquests.
With the double XP next week, doubt I'll need the 45K from Showdown.

I tried it twice and lazily can’t get past Blake so I lost interest pretty quick.

I just tried this conquest. This is exactly how it feels when you are getting screwed online. Fly balls don’t go anywhere, every grounder is a double play haha.

Made it to the final mission (Sale) down 15-8. Even though I hit him easily earlier in the run; I proceeded to ground 20 straight guys to the infielders.
Wasted an hour of my night.

I just lost, I think, for the first time this year to any showdown against the first mini boss lol. Couldnt get past Treinen, however you spell his name. Scored 1 and that was it. Needed 2. Oh well. Played pretty poorly too. usually I dont complain about non H2H gameplay but this showdown played bad hitting. We just havent had enough showdowns since the hitting was bad to compare to. Sure wish the game played like the opening Month or so hitting wise. But that will, never happen. As soon as better cards come out they always mess it up.

You have to acquire three exit Velo perks in order to hit the ball normal….it was easy after I got those.

Noir was clearly set up for everyone to lose. I can do the Run it Back Showdown in literally 5-10 minutes. This Showdown was obviously rigged.

Ok, no way. I just slowed down a bit to take it more serious and something aint right. His stuff looks like its 10 mph faster. I can turn on pitches H2H on HoF better than I can at this level vs Treinen on this showdown. I beat him, but I took away all the distractions this time. That was crazy. I am pretty sure they are experimenting with us at this point.

I went in to the first showdown with all righties and failed. Changed up.my.strategy the second run, went into the final with 10 runs and made it. Took a long time, though...

Biggest issue for me was that Treinen worked so slow that I wanted to take a nap.

I failed the first time against Treinen last night. First showdown I lose all year lol. Tried it back this morning and beat both Treinen and Sale without recording an out (down 15-11 @ Sale)
I was tired last night and couldn’t read a pitch from Treinen and swung at everything
That said, I think that new Treinen is definitely a top option in the bullpen
