Poor Little WS Banner Dashboarder

So pathetic. Beat a guy 1-0 on a walkoff HR by a pinch hitter in the Event and he dashboarded before the ball landed.
What a loser.
Dashboarding is toxic. Your guy doesn't get the stats; it's a huge middle finger to your opponent, even if the game had been respectful up till then (it was).
Never done it, never will.
Absolute garbage WUSSES.

I don't understand the big deal TBH. Dashboarding says that they are angry. Them being angry means that I did ok.

fr, you just not tryna see the L

I love dash boarders -- makes me smile all the time and the higher the ranking the bigger the smile

Yeah, I think it is stupid. It stops the ERA of the pitcher from going up right?

It matters in BR games if you are needing the stats for missions like total bases , or 10 XBH.

This is one time that it really sucks. Other than that I could care less anymore.

Some people care about stats, whether for individual or TA missions or simply just for the “back of the baseball card”. If I hit a HR, I want the stats to count.
The argument I see here often defending it(probably from people who do it themselves) is “take the free win”. 99.9999% of the time the scrub that dashboards isn’t beating me so I’m getting the win anyway. I’ll take the stats I earned instead.

Yeah. If you dashboard in the first inning w/e. Saves me time. But if you’re dash-boarding towards the end or at the end of a game it’s just being petty. I just don’t understand dash-boarding. It’s easy to quit the game. Just quit. Don’t be a D bag
-
Seriously, if SDS cared, they could just look at the non sellable disconnects and start punishing dashboards. Anybody over 75 disconnects is a dashboarding punk.
I don't want to hear people that quit against the CPU and collect the disconnects. The fact that you can't finish an offline game is just as sad...
-
i like NHL where it keeps track of the DNF games....so essentially all the quits
-
Quitting and dashboarding are different. Sometimes I'll quit just to give a dude a win and lower my own ranking. I will NEVER make WS -- objectively: don't have the time to git gud, don't have the reflexes at my age -- so total wins is how I have to roll in RS.
I aim for the 500's where people around my level are and I have about an equal chance to win or lose.

so do you quit before the homer lands and counts or after?

Yeah perfect solution, especially when offline stats missions are needed and you have to waste an hour

Like I said. I don't dashboard. That's for toxic butthurt wusses.

Unless you’re trying to do BR missions, there’s no reason to complain about dashboarding. Take your win and move on, that’s the entire point of online modes. You wouldn’t be playing online if your goal isn’t to win games. Winning is more important than losing a few meaningless stats on a card.

I literally just gave you a reason to complain. Just because you don’t care about your stats doesn’t mean that others feel the same. I have never once had a player dashboard vs me and thought “thanks for the win” because I was already going to beat them. They are just soft, petty sore losers who can’t handle it so that’s there only way of sticking it to you on their way out the door.
Honestly, if you defend it you must do it yourself. There’s no other explanation.

Just because you care about stats doesn’t mean they actually matter. Wins do matter. If you’re already winning, then they just saved you some time.
I don’t do it, but I also can’t imagine actually getting upset over something so insignificant.

If it bothers a large group of people it does matter and it is significant. Stop assuming you know what matters to every other player out there. People play this game for all different reasons other than just winning over everything. I guarantee you there are people playing right now who just play the market all day, have 20+ million stubs and every top card in the game and don’t even play with them. May seem silly to you and me, but to them it’s important and what they play the game for.
I wouldn’t expect a different take from a dashboarder though.

Don't you realize this is exactly why people dashboard? All the tears on the forums. It's a big middle finger to you and it clearly gets under the skin of some of you. I just laugh when it happens to me.
