The new 99 Cole Hamels is way better than Sale, sds is drunk and doesn’t want to listen to the community with these h/9 attributes killing what should be the best pitching cards

I can't wait until they get rid of no hitter cards next year so I can quit hearing this nonsense about H/9
It’s not nonsense when sds released too many meta milestone no hitter cards with over 110 h/9. They messed the Meta up permanently this year
I agree, but arguing that cards that still can be released in future games not having artificially high H/9 to compensate for the no hitter cards is stupid IMO. Take pedro for example. Signature cards 95% of the time are the same attributes from year to year. You can't just give him 120 H/9 to compete with Verlander and Degrom just to give him his 106(which is based on an actual formula) the next year. The outrage would be far worse than the legend players and twitter trolls that currently complain about H/9

This needs to be addressed. The attribute balance between cards in the inning boss choice packs this year has been wack, every inning there is a clear cut best card. Last inning it was Hank and this inning it’s another Rh outfielder in Mays. It could’ve been a tougher choice had Sale had a higher h/9 but of course sds railed that pitcher like they have every big pitching card lately. With that said I have enjoyed a lot of the content this year and the free cards is amazing, just this lack of competition on what to choose for the bosses with the attributes distribution has been ridiculous and everyone picks the same bosses.
Blah blah blah

I'm taking Sale.

I’m not taking Sale over Mays or Banks. I’ll buy him maybe if he isn’t trash,

Welcome to DD where the rules are made up and the points don't matter.
Who cares most of the attributes dont really matter cause there are 97 cards that play better then some 99s
There are to many Cases of over analyzing attributes when it doesn't really matter at this point of the year

I wish stats didn’t matter with pitchers but the pci difference with hits per 9 can be a beach ball or a marble.

I think someone complained that he didn't have an Outlier Perk.
Never have I seen so many people dependent on attributes and perks of a card.
Attributes and perks mean don't mean anything if you know how to pitch/hit with the player.

OP must have a personal vendetta against Sale.
To say Cole Hamels is better than this Sale card is crazy.
96 velocity vs. 84 velocity doesn't matter?
Deceptive arm angle doesn't matter?H/9 is the only thing that matters?
I routinely strike out high diamonds in BR with freaking 79 Sale! I'll take this 99 Sale happily.

Oh so you can do as better with live series German Marquez as you would with 99 DeGrom just because you know how to pitch?

If you know how to mix up their pitches and can find your opponents tendencies; yes.

Why do people always go to extremes? Is it because that is the only way you can "win" an argument.
Nobody is saying that you can pitch just as well with a LS gold versus a 99. That isn't even a debate, no one brought that up.
(Edit, well I guess that one guy is saying he can, which is crazy, but my point still stands, everyone always goes to the extreme)

I know I’m exaggerating. It’s called illustrating a point. Of course perks and attributes matter. It’s idiotic to say they don’t.
And I just saw the guy say he would do as good with Marquez. Color me dumbfounded

Its not impossible, you can come up against someone with easy tendencies to exploit.

Chris Sale has one of the most deceptive arm motions in the game, anyone downplaying him as a boss is going to get a rude awakening in RS.

Where in ANY of my posts does it say that I can pitch better with a lower rated card?
I said that if someone knows how to pitch well enough,it doesn't matter what card they use.
I'm not talking about me.
-
LOL I have nothing else to say really. That’s two people now. I’m speechless
Hot take everyone: If you know how to pitch, live series Marquez is a top 5 option along with 99 DeGrom and 99 Verlander

Obviously I wouldn't go that far, but I do think you can have just as much success with sale, Pedro, Kershaw, And some of the TA4 pitchers, who are what are mainly brought up in H/9 discussions
