First off, thank you sds for making this game and all the work that’s put into it and dealing with gaming community’s that want everything perfect. But my thought to address some of the issues is to adjust hitting close to what it was pre patch. Seen a lot of good/okay on squared up balls and other little things. With that I think pitching needs an overhaul. Too many good user inputs that result in poor pitches whether it ends up down the middle or a foot outside the strike zone. To me this will help balance out the gameplay. That way guys that can hit can still hit and compete and guys that deal can compete and of course guys that can do both are the elite. In the past I have definitely been a pitch first guy and not a good hitter, but I’ve worked a lot on my hitting and have seen a major improvement in my ability to hit, but now I feel like all I’m waiting on to lose a game is a random curve or changeup that I get a good release on end up hanging over the middle for a big homerun. I understand that it is a lot of effort and a challenge to get the algorithms right, and appreciate the game even more now that California is on a shelter in place as it’s given me a lot of entertainment when I’m stuck at home. So thank you!

And now it’s time for the community to shred my post apart! Lol

Your post is great, its just that I've already seen a hundred of these posts today, which makes your post not so great.

    OK, you asked for it...

Funny how you brown-nose SDS and portray the community as a nuisance for wanting everything perfect, as if striving for perfection is such a bad thing.

And then you suggest a fix, which basically, you're just repeating what's already been said...so by default, doesn't that make you part of the same community that wants everything perfect? LOL. Yeah, we see you....right through you, that is.

Anyhow, IMO, I believe the more appropriate word would be 'improvement.' We would like to see improvements within the game's flaws that are so obvious.

Just once I would like to see a developer release a completed game, why are we still testing the game after launch? what was the point of beta and alpha testing? Why am I spending 100$ to do the job of the dev team?.

Because there is no incentive to release a completed version of the game. I'll use sports games as examples since these are the games I play most often. NBA 2K20 came out in September (I believe) and the game was not even close to finished. The park was exactly the same as 2K19, you couldn't play MyTeam online at all for the first month or so of the game. People were outraged, yet nothing changed, and nothing will change in the future. Why? Because 2K already made their profit. People will flock to preorder next year's version of the game despite the fact that it will inevitably be another copy+paste of the last version. It doesn't even matter that the game was dead by January because 2K already made their money, and they can continue to make money by releasing shiny 99 overalls to milk the wallets of the few "whales" that remain.

TL;DR: Developers don't need to release a finished version of the game because people will preorder like crazy, and even when the game is dead, these companies can release cash grab cards to continue generating revenue. Its all about money people. That's it

I find it funny that everytime someone posts something praising SDS for their work that you immediately call it brown nosing. I mean if giving someone the props they deserve is brown nosing than I will do it too cause the people who put this game together work tirelessly from September to March every year doing all the motion captures, rendering, animations and tweaking of gameplay before they send the game out to ensure its even playable. Its not at all their fault if a patch breaks something in the game cause they're trying to fix things. That's how coding works. Yet you choose to talk down to this and every other person who posts something?

Stop trying to shred everyone who praises SDS and find a new hobby cause honestly you have too much time on your hands if you can sit on this forum and bully people for their opinions.

How dumb are you? Just read the last line of the initial post. So I jokingly, yet truthfully responded.

Also, read the first response to this post by Decker, but you chose to single me out. Yeah, I'm such a bully, OK. LOL. And yet, here you are talking down to me....what a hypocrite.
