Twitch Drops Follow Up - We need your help
-
Collected two Twitch drops but they do not show up in game.
-
Claimed 3 drops during the drop weekend, never got them. Claimed one from today's live stream, still nothing. That's 4 packs owed (about to be 5). Accounts are linked.
-
I should have gotten a twitch drop today. It shows up in my inventory on Twitch but not in the game. I claimed the drop on Twitch and my accounts are linked.
-
We got information from Twitch that if you changed your Twitch password recently you will need to re-link you Twitch account due to the security breach on Twitch recently.
Make sure you have done the following:
- Create an MLB The Show Account
- Link your PSN or Xbox Live to your new MLB The Show Account
- Link your Twitch account to your MLB The Show Account
It should look something like this:
-
I still only received 4 of the 10 from the September drops and have claimed both of today's drops and haven't received them yet as well.
I haven't heard back from support regarding the ticket I submitted since my last reply from them on the 8th. -
I claimed two on Twitch and I only have one in my inventory in the game.

After I updated my Twitch password last week after they were hacked I noticed the Twitch side wasn't connected anymore so I had un-linked and re-connected the account to be safe. Not sure if anyone else noticed this or not.

Okay - I unlinked my account and then relinked it. On the Twitch side, the Connect Account link is now gone and it says my accounts are linked. Is there a time period I need to wait for the pack to show up in the game?
-
Also for Twitch Packs to appear in your inventory you MUST launch the game.
So you have to do the following:
- Create and link your account correctly
- Watch a stream that has Drops Enabled
- Click Claim in your Twitch Inventory when you watched enough of a stream
- Boot the game for the pack to appear in your in-game inventory
-
how long before i know i don`t get my cards

I was in the game while I watched the stream and did the unlink and relink. I exited the game and then relaunched it. Still no pack.

Mine is just like this where I claimed two packs on Twitch but only got one in my inventory.
-
I claimed 2 on Twitch today after watching SDS stream and one other. Nothing shown up yet in game. Everything says connected on both ends.
-
This is just strange to me. I did this last year with Madden and had zero problems getting the packs. They were in my inventory immediately.

Last year was Drops 1.0. This year it is Drops 2.0, which required redoing the entire system which was made additionally complicated as our online account system changed with the addition of Xbox and cross progression, which requires an MLB The Show Account.
If you have your account linked AND clicked 'Claim' in your Twitch Inventory, they should appear in your in-game inventory upon booting the game.

I learned something today. Thank you.

Is there a waiting period before the packs show up?
-
This new twitch drops system seems very convoluted and more difficult than it needs to be. Just my two cents.
