Cornerstone Mission Line-Up
-
I've put together a team with 13 batters (8 starters, 5 bench players) whose primary position is each either 1B or 3B. I'm listing it below for anyone looking for ideas, help, etc
- Shohei Ohtani, All-Star Game, P, 99
- Trey Mancini, Home Run Derby, RF, 98
- Jose Ramirez, All-Star Game, 2B, 98
- Alex Bregman, Awards, SS, 98
- Eddie Murray, Awards, 1B, 99
- Mike Schmidt, Milestone, 3B, 99
- Chipper Jones, Awards, LF, 99
- Joe Torre, Awards, C, 96
- Kris Bryant, Awards, CF, 97
Bench:
• Frank Thomas, Awards, 1B, 99
• Pete Alonso, Home Run Derby, 1B, 99
• Prince Fielder, 2012 HRD Winner, 1B, 99
• George Brett, Awards, 3B / 1B, 99
• Vladimir Guerrero, Jr, All-Star Game, 1B / 3B, 99There are no C on the bench, or outfielders, but the starting lineup is so good and powerful that pinch-hitting will be close to non-existent.
As for Ohtani, he's the SP due to the fact that he's one of the best hitters in baseball and is therefore less likely to kill a rally with his bat than any other pitcher. Also, he's got a Stamina rating of 100, meaning that I can usually get through nine innings with him without the annoying whistle to let me know that he is le tired.

back when i did this, i made the lineup of all TN 1B and 3B. every position accounted for as secondary except catcher and knock out both at same time.
