Any one who sees my post knows that this is a Bryce Harper Stan account. Is this the year that we finally get a 99 Bryce wearing the 3? I can't remember 2 99s for an active player in the same game. But they have to give him a finest right? Or maybe a 2021 MVP card?

Last year there were 2 Jose Ramirez 99 cards.
Also last year, Jose Abreu won the AL MVP and his best card in 20 was a 97.
I doubt you'll get 2 99 overall MVP Bryce Harper cards though.

It sucks, but he won’t get another card. It wouldn’t be better or different enough.
2015
AVG vs RHP: .335
AVG vs LHP: .318
ISO vs RHP: .354
ISO vs LHP: .234
K%: 20.0
BB%: 19.02021
AVG vs RHP: .334
AVG vs LHP: .267
ISO vs RHP: .384
ISO vs LHP: .156
K%: 21.8
BB%: 16.0The only thing better about this year is his power vs rhp, but his 2015 card already has max power vs rhp anyway.

It’s hilarious to think if he were in the AL, he’d be hard pressed to crack the top 5 for MVP

He’s currently tied for 2nd in MLB in fWAR among position players.
Vlad Jr. has 6.5, Semien and Harper both have 6.2
Ohtani has 7.3 combined. The next closest AL players are Marte and Mullins both with 5.5
So yeah, Harper would be pretty firmly in the top 5.

This years card would look just like his other 99 mvp card with worse vs lefty stats. Easy pass.

The Harper hate is still very real. The guy is probably the best player on the planet this year.

About time he earned his contract. For as talented as he is he underperforms almost every year. Once every 3-4 years he plays to his potential.

26 million a year is a bargain in the grand scheme of things. John Middleton made his contract back in the first year between merchandise and ticket sales. I understand for us average mouth breathers 26 million dollars seems like monopoly money but Harper adds more than his weight in gold to the value of the Phillies franchise. He's probably underpaid.

Bryce is the only guy pulling his weight right now. Girardi stinks. Bullpen stinks. Starting pitchers besides Ranger (atta boy SDS for giving him the Gold bump) all are disappointing. Phillies might manage to finish 3rd so you have nothing to worry about. I just hope you [censored] of Freeman enough to break up this inevitable NL East dynasty you are building.

Tatis should still win it. Playing short, the stolen bases advantage, more homers and rbis, while missing significant time. Gonna be rlly close with how crazy Bryce has been playing

Bryce has played 125 games. Tatis has played 114. Both have missed time. RBI's to me are a little more of a team stat, if Bryce had the talent around him that the Padres have I'd assume he would have a decent amount more RBI's than he does batting behind AAA bench players. But lets give that edge to Tatis. I don't know that Tatis playing short will help because of the amount of errors he has this year. I can't argue with the stolen bases but I can say that Bryce has batter batting average, OBP, OPS, and walks while having less strike outs and only 7 less home runs. I'd say what Bryce is doing playing with the mutants he does is more impressive but I understand we are both biased for our guys. And I know that playoffs appearances and home runs are what gets the votes so Tatis is the favorite for sure.
