It’s sad that many devoted fans of this title have gotten a huge slap in the face with how terrible the gameplay this year has been. Content is amazing hands down, but the quality of gameplay is horrible. SDS needs to focus on not making us spend money on the game but instead make us want to spend more time playing it. Because good gameplay will make us want to play and spend money . I’ve noticed many reviewers have given this game less than 50% and its well deserved

1-SDS certainly doesn't make us spend money on the game other than buying the title
2-Feel free to go play Madden and get back to us about bad gameplay kid -
I'm honestly not sure how they could make it any easier to get quality cards without spending money.

This game isn’t perfect but it’s not Madden or NBA 2K. There are two sports titles that deserve to be ripped to shreds.

Far and away the best baseball game. And live played them all.

I still have a soft spot for MVP Baseball 2005.

Hardball for PC was a [censored] game but I loved it as a kid. My friend and I had to manually enter player names and stats because they didn’t have an MLBPA license. It was also pre-expansion and had 26 teams max. I was always threatening to delete the White Sox (my friend’s fav) to create the Marlins or Rockies.

Technology-adjusted ranking G.O.A.T.

I've enjoyed the game this year. Usually I'm done by June, but here it is in September and I'm still playing it regularly. The thing about SDS is that they do take our input into consideration which is evidenced by Pinpoint Pitching. Pinpoint is great, but given it's a novel setting, it'll just need some tweaking.
I regrettably bought Madden this year for the first time in several years and it's a buggy mess as usual. I stopped playing after 24 hours. As far as sports games go The Show leads the way imo. And the only money I've spent was for the MVP (?) edition and a few nights when I got drunk and wanted to rip a 50 pack. But all in all, I've spent less than $300 including purchase of the game.

Lmao drunk card buying is never a good idea. Def feels worth it at the time until you wake up and your like, “where did all my stubs go”

I've got most every high priced card on the market. At least, the ones that I'd want. Which means about 3 million in stubs. None locked. I havent spent a penny. But, the OPs post isn't about content. The content is fine. Its the RNG in the game play. Which I agree with. Its so apparent that you know when its occurring. Which, at this point, is the majority of the time. And, yes, I have less qualms with it when I'm the one being favored. Yet, it shouldn't be about RNG. Skill should be the deciding factor.

I agree that in RS DeGrom's fastball is about the speed of a rocket-propelled grenade.

I love this game............Thank you

Yeah OP's point about gameplay is valid but he lost me when commenting about SDS focusing on gameplay rather than ways of getting us to spend more money.
This is WAY off-base compared to the greediness of other sports gaming companies.

The OP didn't mention RNG though. They said that their issue was with forcing people to spend additional money. That's what I was responding to.
