Why does everyone feel the need to up the price by 1k or more? Instead of doing the logical thing and go up by one?

You go up by one and then someone else goes up by one. Go up by 1k and really quickly you will find out who is serious and wants the card. Most of the time I don't feel like playing the one stub game. At least for higher diamonds....lower level cards might be a bit different but a similar mindset is there.

I mean yeah, but it also depends on the profit margin if it's even worth it or not.

It's just an open market...more than likely they know what they are doing or it is worth it to them for one reason or another.
