They have to have a Rockies Finest and with Story not having his usual year and already having 2 high 90's Cron is really the only choice. Wouldn't make sense to give him a 97 then give him a 98 or 99 in a month.

Yeah, looking at the list of Rockies it is light. And two of the best cards are just different versions of Story. But I’m not sure CJ Cron is a reason to be upset…..hard to find a more boring player. I totally forgot he was a Twin a couple years ago. Having Larry Walker back and with a beast card makes up for the slights imo. Walker is end game good.
I agree and everyone is like wait you’ll get him for your team affinity 4 player. I don’t want him as that player we just want a player to have an option to use. I’d rather have story or Rodgers.
Last year it was ok but this year no options meanwhile the pirates have 15 solid cards

Helton and Arenado are big chances for TA4. They still botched it with Cron though.

I normally don't buy in to these conspiracy theories about them hating teams but for Cron to not be included at all is a bit ridiculous.
I mean c'mon, Naquin is the Reds 5th POTM card. It's not that he is not deserving of a card but to give the reds a 5th card while overlooking a player on a team that has none. Just seems wrong.
Honestly I don't know what they are doing with come of those picks.
Louis Robert did not even play enough to be a qualifying player in August
Ty France and Frank Schwindel was outplayed by Goldy in Aug so I can only assume Goldy will get a SS card soon
If Cron does not get a finest or some type of boosted card then this was just a snub, pure and simple.

While I am stoked about Vinny as a Rockies fan... To see another Ty France with his basically unplayable speed and dismissing Cron just feels wrong in my opinion. Cron had a better average, nearly 2x as many HR and more than double the RBI... And, you know, he was the actual POTM in the NL.

Cron deserved it which is why he most likely will be the Finest Card for Colorado.
Wainwright deserved it over Ray, but they dropped his Sig Series so that meant he was not going to get it. -

Very nice breakdown thanks for sharing here. The issue isn’t that we can still get a Cron card in our team affinity for sure. The issue is we have zero player of the month cards thus far which combined with very few usable cards we did get this year makes this a kick in the nuts. Teams that get way more upgraded like Boston don’t need two more dam cards and team affinity four and the new event rewards. They care less to spread the love between the haves and have nots

Hell they could put a monk 99 overall for the game as a senior in high school he hit 2 bombs and went 4-4 …. Topps nooooow come on iiiiin.
