Hopefully with juiced topps now and FS that means SUPER juiced legends in TA4
At some point every card will have the same attributes. You get 125 and you get 125.
Have a good game? You get 117
I said this when it was announced that TA3 would be All Stars. Basically, any decent MLB player will have a high diamond by the end of the season. Topps Now is amplifying this effect. We still have Finest and Postseason coming, plus more TN cards. What's the point in legend cards, if these dudes are going to get as good/better cards than them?
They may as well stop paying for the legend rights, and just come out with crazy boosted MLB players, as it seems that is what most of the community wants anyway. Diversity with no regard for history.
You got that right. Potms were bad enough, but they've completely blown the doors off this year. Hof'ers should clearly be the elite cards, but now you've got players that ain't done jack with better cards. "You had a great game, week, or month. Here you go, 125 across the board". Who needs the true greats of the game, when you can just give a better card to some nobody, that won't even sniff the hall of fame.

I think it's fun playing with FS cards to break up the monotony..
-
The Topps Now are ok because at least their active players and the cards are loosely based off something that actually happened. I think they have over-done Future Stars. No reason to have so many. It would be much cooler if they were more selective with them than giving out like 60 of them, some duplicates with higher stats than the others. Ex. Wander, Jasson. It's a bit much

The hate and complaints directed towards future stars and topps now cards is easily explained by the double standard SDS employs to assign ratings. HoF legends (or even flashbacks) attributes are assigned using a formula based on actual stats, while the FS and Topps Now cards attributes are made up from scratch with no bearing on anything other than imagination.
I don’t think anyone would have a problem with say the Topps Now Joey Wendle card if the 1980 MVP Brett (a HoF’s MVP season) had something like 125/115 and 118/105 splits with say 90 defense.
Surprise surprise you don't like something.
Your explanation holds no weights when all you do is complain
-
They should go back and make all the TN no hitter cards 125 H/9 now. If they are truly basing it on that game, make them accurate. I get not doing it early in the year, but there shouldnt be any issue doing it retroactively.

Let’s not go over board here. They way everyone is complaining.... it appears you want immortals back in the game

MLB Community in 2018 : immortals ruin the game there is no line up diversity it's the same line up every game this is no fun.
MLB community in 2021: there are to many cards that can compete and made up they shouldn't juice all these cards as it's unrealistic and it's ruining the game

The immortals aren't a very good example. There were other cards in the game that should have competed, actually deserved to have competed, but didn't because of how SDS pushed it. The thing now is you have cards that don't even begin to deserve their ranking, while elites are just set to the side. Brett more than deserves to be considered to make a lineup, but with what they have going now, I won't even waste my time leveling him up.

Either you are being intentionally stupid or you weren’t around in 18 and don’t know what you are talking about. In 18, there were only like 10-12 immortals, which is what created a lack of lineup diversity. SDS juicing the stats of actual players (so that actual accomplishment is rewarded with in game attributes more than imagination), would result in dozens of options today (and guys like Wendle et al would still be playable, if slightly less good than a juiced Brett).

You know that there is plenty of room for balance between 15 immortals and 180x 99 rated cards.

I understand it’s two fold… First of Future Stars are a marketing campaign made to make baseball exciting and for non hardcore baseball fans to know some of these guys before they come up… Topps now are based off one game, so I mean it’s sucks but if you hit 4hr in game thats max power… My only gripe is they need to fix legend pitchers hit per nines (Roy Oswalt 79 base is embarrassing)… Now do I think Edward Cabrera will be better than Pedro, I don’t… He may not even be better than Ruby De La Rosa.

Honestly the more cards that are useable the better. You really want to see Chipper, DeGrom, Trout etc….EVERY GAME!!!

The community: Waah this card has unrealistic attributes!
Also the community; Waah I don’t hit a home run on every good swing! Who cares about realism?

Well I should be reward for every my entry and have my player bat 800
But these cards are unrealistic and this is no longer a simulation.
Man the community talks out of both sides of its mouth all the time
