Done with Madden and I don’t miss it. 15’, 16’, maybe 17’ MUTs were fun but it went off a cliff with the multiple currencies, power up BS, much much less to do for a grinder like myself. Happily done with it. Imo.

I bought Madden this year for the first time in 5 years. I'm enjoying it. Is it perfect, nope, but its enjoyable. I also play The Show. Its possible to do both and enjoy both. I'll probably also buy NBA 2K in a few weeks (waiting to hear/see about gameplay improvements). Its 100% possible to play multiple games and enjoy them all without being contentious.
No way man that's too adult like

Gameplay aside MUT is the worst it’s ever been. That’s my go to game. I like all sports but I am a die hard football fan. Love my team, love to play fantasy football, love dfs, watch almost every snap of every game played and I haven’t touched the game in 5 days. It’s been out like 10 days. Bad set up, bad rewards, bad leveling system, very little content.
Take this game and remove any good rewards from BR, remove live series collections, remove dynamic cards, remove most conquest(especially the repeatable ones) give 100-200 xp per game, remove almost all pack rewards from conquest, xp, dailies, remove topps now, remove monthly awards, remove big sellable cards from inning program, BR and ranked seasons, remove keeping cards from the big sets, remove team affinity, remove player programs, add in nothing of value and you have MUT.

Madden 20 was my last one. It should have been 18, but they abilities/Xfactor intrigued me to give them free money one more time. Never again buying another madden no matter what. Every year becomes a new low.
Madden 22 currently sitting at 0.5/10 on Metacritic, 1.5/5 on GameStop, 27% on google user reviews, IGN gave it a 6 (which is a really bad score for them), and endless videos of glitches. My favs have been the ones where there are cars/houses on the field, winning a game in franchise but receiving a loss, and QBs racking up tackles and sacks in simulated games.
Releasing a severely unfinished game annually has to have some sort of repercussions eventually doesn’t it?

Y’all stay crying about madden like [censored] shut up
-
I laugh at those that say MUT and DD is the same. You pretty much know for a fact that those guys never played DD.

If it bothers you that much, ignore it and go run back to Madden. I played Madden last year when it went down to $30 and I still felt ripped off.
-
DD is far better then MUT as well. MuT is too [censored] grindy for me. At least DD you can really play how ya want and not forced to grind out some boring missions to get your team to 80 ovr.

I don’t think it’s considered “crying” if the game is actually released unfinished. They sell a game that’s not even at beta stages when you got cars/houses on the field, winning games and counted as losses, can’t even finish face of the franchise due to the team not being on the field, and a ton of other game breaking glitches.

I sure will. I've yet to pre-order yet as I was unhappy with 2k21 and i've been waiting for any information on gameplay changes/advancements... sadly we've received nothing which worries me that 2k22 will be a copy and paste of 21.
-
I also haven't played since '19, which is still installed on my PS4, believe it or not. I tried to boot up and find updated rosters, but couldn't find them. Did a little practice and was reminded why I can't play this ish anymore.
2K where are ye?
We need ye! -
I have played mut since it came out. Skipped madden 25. This is the first year that I haven’t preordered and tbh I haven’t missed it even though my order of sports is football, hockey and then baseball. This is my first year playing Dd and whether I am naive or not I have really enjoyed this game.
-
I was one that would've went 100% back to Madden, but the game really blows (so far) this year. So, I've still been keeping up with DD. So I'm 50/50 right now on both. I refuse to give EA (or SDS) a dime, so I grind both in my free time.
-
I bought Madden even though it sucks. Haven’t even tried MUT and have played like three ranked online games.
My brain just wants to play MLB.

I’ll let you know. Myteam was good last year so looking forward to this year. Gameplay was speed boosting current gen and curry slide next gen. But all sports games have something in the gameplay.

I love 2K, but haven’t ever touched MyTeam. Is it possible to build a competitive team without dropping cash?

Yes and no. Nowhere near this game. But they run a season for their xp. Level 40 is a solid no sell player. Think the first one is a 96 Carmelo Anthony this year. They also give a couple of players on the way.
They have Triple threat which is a 3v3 mode. Have that both offline and online. Offline is cumulative wins for rewards with some okay cards from there. Also after every win you get a chance to open the vault. A couple of really good cards from there last year. Online they throw some players on there with their bouncy ball plinko board that you may have a chance to get. A few good players definitely came from there throughout the year.
They have unlimited which is the standard basketball mode. If it stays the same as last year there’s a good card released there every season but it’s a grind and hard as hell getting the final reward you better be super good for that.
Then they have limited dropping every weekend which is standard basketball but with caps. Like an event. You get a ring each week then like 6 or 7 weeks get a high card and a couple from there were solid last year.
They are supposed to bring back draft mode so we will see what the do with that.
They also had the ascension board if they bring that back but those cards were pretty bad tbh.
But don’t get me wrong they know how to drop fire cards in packs only to sell packs lol. But if you don’t blow mt on packs you can stack nicely. Sniping kind of sucks on it tho.

No DD is better then mut rn but if y’all don’t like The game cool but y’all crying for no reason

I would love to get into the 2k my team but contracts always bother me. I hate games that use them. I'm not a huge basketball guy but I enjoyed the games for the most part. Just have a hard time in the my team.
