I remember a few Madden fans in this forum saying that they are happy that madden releasing so that they can leave the show. Is any one of them came back?

I’m not a big madden fan but I gave it a shot. It sucks I’m back. Anyone saying they like madden I really think is lying to themselves. It’s in a terrible place

Children like madden. Because to then they don't remember how good football games once were. I haven't bought madden since 19 and don't plan to.

I bought Madden this year for the first time in 5 years. I'm enjoying it. Is it perfect, nope, but its enjoyable. I also play The Show. Its possible to do both and enjoy both. I'll probably also buy NBA 2K in a few weeks (waiting to hear/see about gameplay improvements). Its 100% possible to play multiple games and enjoy them all without being contentious.

a group of my friends did online franchises for the past 4 years....this one we just got through week 6 and called it til its fixed if at all. it is absolutely awful. Anyone who complains about SDS there are problems, however go play madden you'll be back with bells on.

Can't do it...I cannot bring myself to give them money for Madden.
All I read about are issues, bugs and user/fan outrage. Meanwhile, Madden is going to announce some new game mode apparently...even with all of the basic gameplay bugs.
The story of Madden, really MUT, should be cautionary tale for SDS to review and reflect on. The inclusion of DD (though fun) has slowed the pursuit for innovation and the desire to make a true baseball sim.

Both games are not very good. Just comes down to what sport/game ya prefer. Madden is copy paste every year, but so is the show. Both riddled with bugs and glitches. Madden i would say doesn't have lag as much as the show. Both games need news engines honestly

You came back the wrong year. Unless they drop an amazing patch this is the worst madden I’ve ever played. I played heavily past 4 years and have bought it since ‘05.

I bought madden 19 after an 8 year hiatus. Played for a week and was appalled at the game didn’t improve, it got worse and was so boring.
Wouldn’t even play if I got it for free waste of time !!

Done with Madden and I don’t miss it. 15’, 16’, maybe 17’ MUTs were fun but it went off a cliff with the multiple currencies, power up BS, much much less to do for a grinder like myself. Happily done with it. Imo.

Gameplay aside MUT is the worst it’s ever been. That’s my go to game. I like all sports but I am a die hard football fan. Love my team, love to play fantasy football, love dfs, watch almost every snap of every game played and I haven’t touched the game in 5 days. It’s been out like 10 days. Bad set up, bad rewards, bad leveling system, very little content.
Take this game and remove any good rewards from BR, remove live series collections, remove dynamic cards, remove most conquest(especially the repeatable ones) give 100-200 xp per game, remove almost all pack rewards from conquest, xp, dailies, remove topps now, remove monthly awards, remove big sellable cards from inning program, BR and ranked seasons, remove keeping cards from the big sets, remove team affinity, remove player programs, add in nothing of value and you have MUT.

Madden 20 was my last one. It should have been 18, but they abilities/Xfactor intrigued me to give them free money one more time. Never again buying another madden no matter what. Every year becomes a new low.
Madden 22 currently sitting at 0.5/10 on Metacritic, 1.5/5 on GameStop, 27% on google user reviews, IGN gave it a 6 (which is a really bad score for them), and endless videos of glitches. My favs have been the ones where there are cars/houses on the field, winning a game in franchise but receiving a loss, and QBs racking up tackles and sacks in simulated games.
Releasing a severely unfinished game annually has to have some sort of repercussions eventually doesn’t it?

If it bothers you that much, ignore it and go run back to Madden. I played Madden last year when it went down to $30 and I still felt ripped off.
