Sources say that EA is returning to baseball, I really hope the sources are false. I hope MLB is watching what EA is doing with the NFL. SDS is may not be perfect but its far better than EA.

    Competition should be welcomed.

By everyone except EA. Idk if EA would ease on micro transactions or if SDS would ramp up on them if they’re competing.

Thats the bigger fear I think is SDS following EAs brand of fleecing everyone at every chance but I dont think they go too far off their path. I have zero faith in EA being able to produce a working solid game. They can't get hockey even remotely close to a solid game, madden is a mess, fifa I honestly have no idea and they tried this with basketball and that flopped too.

Competition is a good thing but not from the worst company out there.

100% agree. All their games are awful. FIFA is the worst with scripting. You know when you’re about to concede a goal just by the way the gameplay feels while you have possession of the ball. Your players with great dribbling dribble awful, great passers pass awful, and 90+ speed players can’t make runs, and you know you’re about to concede a counter attack.

EA screwed up on the timing. If they made a baseball game BEFORE The SHOW came on XBOX this year it would have sold well for xbox gamers.

But doesn't SDS own the exclusive MLB license like EA does for the NFL?

At earliest it would be 3 or 4 years. I'll wait to see if I can still play games then before I have an opinion.
