Did Nolan Ryan ever throw a sinker?

According to SDS he has. I tried searching google and came up with nothing. I know DD is fantasy baseball but do we really need to give Ryan a sinker also? His fastest pitch recorded was 100.9 mph but of course he throws 102. The meta they created is beyond bizarre this year. It’s a shame cause it’s a great game with great content but they destroyed RS making it just absolute zero fun on HOF. As cool as PPP is it ruined the game when you can dot with 102 MPH outlier FB. Not to mention, I believe he’s the all time leader in wild pitches. Not with PPP…

Of all the nonsense cards (Cabrera, Degrom, etc.) they have created this year...that one plays more realistic than just about any of them.

They give him that knowing it's the OP pitch in the game. They gave Rivera one also.
Nolan threw a Sinker to Ventura's noggin once, though...Gave him a noogie as well

You’re right about the fact he plays decent but come in already with the sinker.

should be a 2sfb. he did occasionally use one in dp situations but its like less than 5% usage.fb cb 90+% of the time.

99 Peralta has a sinker and I go to a lot of Brewer games and I have not seen him throw a sinker. It's part of the game I guess

Well when you talk about the old radar pitchers like Ryan, they measured from a different spot. His 100.9 actually translates into 108.5 in todays measurement. But the accuracy debate still remains because of the difference in technology. As for the sinker, I know for a while he had a rising fastball, which of course is the opposite of the sinker, but he just called that his 4 seamer. And 2 seamers in this game dont seem to work right. So I guess they gave him the Sinking FB because it gave him another FB like he had IRL.

His FB on the game looks like it touches around 109 for sure

His FB on the game looks like it touches around 109 for sure !!!Its different tech, hard to say. Probably 103-104 if I had to guess. But that 100.9, that suppose to be 108.5 today, from the wrong measuring spot was recorded in the 9th inn of one of his starts. So who knows.
I have always liked this video though of him himself describing his pitches.

He was wild, but not as bad as it would seem. He was 2nd all time in WP's. The guy pitched in 4 decades, and 5386 inn so he hold lots of records from just being around 4 ever. Hell the guy struck out over 300 batters and had a 1.086 WHIP at 42. And threw a no hitter at 44. Headlock face bashed Ventura at 46.
Also had the best hits per 9 ever. No one gave up less hits then him ever. But he is like 20th worse all time in walks per 9.(In pitchers that have thrown at least 1000 innings.)
