Disconnects/Servers still a MAJOR problem.

First I’ll state that I have Xfinity’s best internet speed offered. Yes, I am hard wired. And no, I never get disconnected when playing other video games…I am not exaggerating when I say that 50% of my losses for the entire year are from disconnects. They happen all the time and have from launch. It is extremely frustrating when you’re winning 8-2 in the 7th inning & like Randy Orton with an RKO out of nowhere the “Your connection to the show online has been lost” pops up & I get the loss. I was understanding at the beginning of the year because of the added traffic with Xbox players but it’s the middle of August & this is still an ongoing problem. I would love an honest explanation from SDS as to why this is still happening & what is the cause because I am just at my wits end.

I think it was like mlb 17 or 18 that almost every other game I got disconnected from. Never even had a chance to make WS that year and I had great wired internet. Never has that issue since then though. Probably the most frustrated ive ever been

No, It’s the newest tower Xfinity has & like I said - These disconnects only happen when playing The Show. I never get booted when playing COD, Battlefront, Halo, Madden, ect…It’s just with the show.

What DNS server do you use? Do you use default or have you manually imputed one. I haven't had issues in years and this is one thing I have changed. I live in an apartment and the wiring in my walls was bad too, ever since getting new wire no issues.

crazy Im xfinity as well and nothing like this, I suggest calling a tech

The Google ones seem to work well. 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.
Just look up for your system how to change DNS . It is pretty simple. Won't take long. It may help but may not. it won't hurt though.
